Start with the soup. It was super temperature HOT . I was craving for oysters and they got plenty today . So much to eat, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. No carbohydrate just protein.

At 4pm there was a lot of fresh food, including a big pile of crab that included lots of claws YUM! (Nothing was left old or soggy that I saw.) Dirty plates were quickly cleared. I was pleasantly surprised for a Monday night! Nice place to relax and enjoy good food and conversation – can’t beat the price either.

Unbelievable experience, my Wife and I had an early dinner and so stoked we ate at China City. We are visiting from Hawaii and there is nothing even close to this amazing restaurant at home. Everything I tried was delicious and same for my Wife. Hot and Sicy Chicken my favorite then pineapple chicken, spicy breaded chicken, sesame Chicken. Honey Chicken and of course the killah noodles. Make sure to leave room for an entire dessert area also. Then the best part was the unbelievable price both of us under 30.00. By far the biggest selection buffet I’ve ever seen and the best tasting. Recommend China City for everyone.

The sea food was great except the crab in half shell which was too oily.
The sushi was fresh with a large amount of wasabi and ginger.
The wasabi was not fresh and showed it was in fridge for almost two days.
Boiled salmon had a very good taste. But the fried fish was dry and not easy to chew.
The main attraction of this restaurant is that it is open menu and you can take as mush as you want by $17.
I recommend you order the hot tea with your food which is a good taste of Chinese green tea. There are plenty of cookies to take with the tea. And as acceptable variety of fruit and ice cream.
Finally I strongly suggest this restaurant.

The food here is tasty and the prices are even better. They’ve got a great mix of options, including a hibachi grill where you pick your ingredients and they cook it for you. There’s also a nice selection of sushi, so I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

I love this place. It’s way better than all the other Chinese buffets I’ve tried in the valley. Clean, consistent, crisp vegetables, n lots of variety. It’s my favorite place actually. Always best on a busy Friday/Saturday evening.

I just so happened to be walking outside when, to my complete surprise, I saw a sign on the window that said “Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in USA.” I couldn’t believe it! That meant that this was one of the best Chinese Restaurants in Arizona, and I simply had to come in and try it.
And what a mistake that was.
Uncle Roger would be VERY disappointed in this fried rice. Fried rice is a classic Chinese dish, prepared in a hot wok with green onion, eggs, and soy sauce. China City’s “fried rice” was from a microwaved bag prepared by Uncle Ben. I mean, it was YELLOW! And slimy, and flavorless, and didn’t resemble fried rice whatsoever.
Shameful. Dreadful. Awful. I stopped eating long before getting dull. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I was embarrassed that I came here, thinking that this was one of the highest rated Chinese restaurants in the country, when it’s not even the highest rated Chinese restaurant on Power Road.
You should take down that sign, China City, and bow your heads in shame. And so, my quest for a real Top 100 Chinese Restaurant continues. Farewell, China City. Farewell.

Food is always fresh. Buffets are always full, and awevuxe is great. Prices are fair. Ate here for New Years and we had the whole experience for 17.99 they also had ham, roast beef and BBQ for those who accompany others that don’t like Chinese style cuisine. The atmosphere is clean and staff is friendly. Don’t forget to tip your servers! They always work super hard.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great experience. The place appeared to be clean and the staff members were kind, courteous, and very attentive. My drink didn’t go empty the entire time. We were able to try a variety of items, typical for what you’d expect at a Chinese Buffet. They also featured Sushi and a Mongolian style grill station where you create your own dish and they cook it for you. All of the dishes we tried were fresh and tasty. A couple of our favorites were the wonton soup, egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, and banana pudding. We were happily STUFFED as we left.
