This may be the Most Dangerous Restaurant on the entire MLK highway! My wife ordered shrimp fried rice and mistakenly ordered combination fried rice last night . The order came within 30 minutes I hopped on the shrimp fried rice because it was still somewhat hot , while she waited a few before she decided to eat . When I tell you I’ve been paying for it every since!!!!!! I knew something was up when the shrimp had a odd texture …..STAY AWAY unless you like having a BM every few hours.

Me & my friend recently ate here because we were in a rush to get somewhere and this place happened to be nearby. The food here is trash. The half & half was pure sugar, the fries had a bright yellow color and the fried shrimp have zero flavor. I wish i read these reviews before ordering.

P praise God the name of Jesus Christ China chef has been very disrespectful they had some good food ,at one time.. but they were very disrespectful.. don’t even respect the minister man of God ,,you called them, and just let them know, that they shorted you or they food didn’t look right and they cuss you out ,treat you real bad.. treat you like you’re nothing,, like they can just take your money and just talk to you any kind of way don’t appreciate there customers,, don’t value there customers ,thats not right…have no professionals ways .I’m going to be real no matter what….they Rong& need to improve.impress me .if I ever buy from the store again

Please don’t waste your time and have food delivered from this carry out I’ve had two separate incidents with this place on their delivery service I just ordered food today just to see if the delivery service was the same and it is my food was never delivered today and it was never delivered another time and the food isn’t all that great for them to have such bad delivery service for them to not deliver my food twice! Is unacceptable I will never order from here ever again I promise it’s definitely not worth it and both times I waited over a hour for my food to be delivered and for it to never come on both occasions

I’ve ordered from this establishment for years (w/o any major issues; the lady there has always been nice, we’ve even met before; although there’s been a bit of a difference when only the men have been there ijs) but it’s obvious that things have changed in the past few months or so & not for the better.
Even looking at the food let me know that but after tasting bland shrimp fried rice, watery egg drop soup along w/other unmentioned things that happened already (i.e. green (on the inside) tomatoes in my salad, forgotten items that weren’t replaced, etc.) I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t continue to pay for such inconsistency (it took even longer to gather the nerve to post this).
As someone who’s on a fixed income, this is usually a treat for me, but upon receiving my order tonight apparently I’ll have to spend my money elsewhere.
Sad it didn’t work out but there are Chinese carryouts practically on every corner in DC & I’ll search and hopefully find a new one before next month.

I have been order from China Cafe for years. Now in the last two years the food has been different..Tasteless, always using different noodles , paying for extra meat on sandwiches and don’t see it. Very unhappy .

If I can give them no stars I would. I highly recommend that nobody eats here. Me and my boyfriend ordered orange chicken and the orange chicken wasn’t chicken. It was some type of dough stuffed in bread. Pure disgusting. They were beyond rude when we called back to try and get a refund or order something else. They hung up. The customer service is horrible. If you can go somewhere else I advise that you do.
