If I could leave 0 I would. Food is gross. Fried rice tastes like old oil. Egg rolls were absolutely the worst I’ve ever tasted. I’d eat an egg roll from the gas station before I would ever eat this again. Bourbon chicken was ok i guess. Singapore was absolutely disgusting.

I was a little nervous by the 4.1 stars but the wife talked me into it. So glad she did. Everything was fresh, cooked properly, and best of all reasonably priced. The dumplings looked homemade. The rangoons had great flavor. The moo shoo pork was really friggin good. The low mein needed more seasoning. But the overall consensus by the group was we will be ordering again

Used to be good a few years ago, but we just ordered today. I ordered Hunan chicken – which is supposed to be spicy, even by their menu – and it was entirely flavorless. Seriously the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. None of us could even eat it.

Most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever had! Terrible!! Lo mein was soupy and very dark in color. Never had it this way before. The orange chicken was dry and overdone. I could have done better in the microwave. Food had no flavor. $40 later and I threw it all in the trash! The staff was rude and the place is filthy. Never going back!!!!

It pains me to write this review, because China Chef was so good years ago. I’m not sure what happened but the staff is rude, the order was incorrect (instead of honey chicken we got some sort of chicken in brown liquid) and the food that was correct wasn’t good and it was very overpriced. Sadly, we won’t be going back. Please save your money and eat elsewhere.

First time ordering China Chef on a whim and never again. I placed my order then started looking through their pictures and reviews and was instantly regretting my decision. Every Chinese place has bad reviews so I thought maybe it would be ok. However, I ordered chicken lo mien which I think the last bad reviews about that were from 8 months ago along with a picture of it that looked pretty gross. Well my husband picked it up and the chicken lo mien was disgusting. I didn’t even try it because it looked so gross. It was to be shared by me and my sister and my sister took a few bites and couldn’t stomach it. Everything was pale, white and soupy like other reviews stated. Usually when you get it from other places, it has some sort of brown sauce on it and everything is brown tinted. Not this. We spent $40 on a quart of inedible chicken lo mien, pork rolls which my husband said were not any good and then sweet and sour chicken which he seemed to eat ok.

I decided to treat myself and get Chinese. I ordered golden fingers, governors pork, and shrimp chips. I came home and spooned some rice and two pieces of governors pork in my bowl. I noticed that one of the two pieces was shrimp NOT pork. I usually don’t like to complain but this time I did. I called and spoke to the lady that helped me when I picked up my order. I told her about my order but mistakenly said chicken instead of pork. She corrected me and I apologized. I continued the conversation with her and she wouldn’t have it! I told her I’ll take a picture and show her and again, she wouldn’t have anything to do with what I had to say! If I wanted to order shrimp I would have! Also, I was a chef for almost 30 years I definitely would not have handled this the way it was handled. What if I had shellfish allergies? Can we say lawsuit? Needless to say I won’t be coming back! I’ll be going down the street to New Peking Express. Unbelievable!!!!!
