I could highlight a few experiences I have had with your establishment and I will just note this one from yesterday. The food was bad, I am sorry to report but when I first moved to the area I raved about your food. Last night’s meal was not good at all. I got beef and broccoli, the beef was red in spots, some pieces were completely red. The sauce was very salty. The wonton soup looked like it was sitting in the bottom of a container and was not cooked. This is a shame. I will not return for a little while, its probably for the best. The lack of effort put into the food is very disappointing. I hope things change because right now, there are better options out there.

Generously packed with jumbo shrimps, sea scallops, tender chicken breasts, with steamed fresh vegetables in the Happy Family. Very large home made pork dumplings. Royal seafood chef special. All are delicious! Our first time trying out this place and very happy with our choice. The restaurant seems to be run by a hardworking elderly couple. The restaurant is underrated for its price, quality and value.

Ordered takeout. Guy told me to take a seat and wait. Food came quickly but the man at the counter was incredibly rude for no reason. I asked if I offended him by sitting waiting for my food and he complained he would have to clean the table (all I did was sit and look at my phone. No utensils, no water, no mess).
Made the experience really poor. I haven’t even tried the food yet. Will never be back.

Looked at a lot of reviews. Been living in the area for years. I saw some very bad reviews actually but anytime I went the to scotch bonnet the place is PACKED. We sat and ate there today like 20 minutes ago and it was loved it.

I have been going to China Chef for about 2 years now and I must say that I have never had a bad experience. My wife and I really enjoy the food and atmosphere. I often get Chicken and Mixed Vegitables (or string beans) while my wife loves Sweet and Sour chicken. Of course their wonton soup is tasty.
The only thing I have a problem with is that the Lady who works there prefers dogs over cats… something I cannot get past. They should be more careful who they hire. 🙂

Went to lunch. The service was great fast, attentive and accurate. Very comfortable and atmosphere was warm. Food was good and prices reasonable. Would definitely go again.

My family and I have been dining here for years. The food is always great. However, the grumpy man at the counter was extremely rude and short with me. I had to walk out. His attitude was rotten. I kindly let him know what I thought. I left before I placed my order. The women who have served my family over the years are sweet and accommodating. It is a great shame that he is the first one to greet customers.

The black pepper wings alone are worth the trip! Delicious! The Peking Duck rolls and Young Chow fried rice are also highly recommended but you can’t go wrong with whatever you order because everything is amazing and fresh. The staff is very friendly as well. The dining room is expansive and cozy

I have been using them for take out regularly until yesterday when a $68 order all tasted like it had freezer burn or was lacking any flavor. Bye bye China chef!!

The food is not worth the price, a few choice dishes that are very tasty! I get undercooked vegetables and thin sauces that should be thick a good amount of the time. The protein portions vary too much, I just received a dish with a good amount of shrimp and beef but the chicken dish was lacking. Makes no sense money wise. I aim for some of the other Chinese restaurants over this one, if you’re in a bind the food isn’t too bad.
