I tried China Cafeteria because a native of Atlanta told me they are one of the best Chinese restaurants. I tried them once before. And I did not like the food quality. So I chose to give them another try today and unfortunately, I have worst news. The food is disgusting. I ordered the Lo Mein with 4 wings special with shrimp fried Rice. And although the food looked delicious, it left more to be desired. The best part of the meal was the braized wings. They had the most flavor of everything in the plate. The lo mein when they took it out of the container was so wet and did not look like it had any flavor the shrimp Fried Rice looked delicious, but did not look like it was seasoned with soy sauce while frying. When I got home to eat my meal, I realized my observations in store were correct. I ate
the braized wings but the shrimp Fried Rice and lo mein I cannot finish even when I added soy sauce.It made it worse. I will not be eating here again.

While im sure this is a neighborhood staple i was disappointed in the food. I ordered the braised wings which was good but the sesame chicken and rhe lo mein was not good at all. The guy who was ringing up our food seemed blatantly disinterested in serving us, meaning everyone in the line. He would bust a joke, but i wasn’t sure how to take him otherwise. It may have been me. It was crowded in there, but the food was mediocre to me. The prices were phenomenal though, ut reminded of how prices were when I was a kid. They did give you good portions. My barometer was growing eating food from China town where Chinese people are cooking.
