By the owners of this restaurant not responding to their customers say’s alot about their character and care for the community. The building and parking is horrible and no signs of fixing this place up. The dining area has been closed way after COVID. Panhandlers harassing customer soon as they park. The workers careless about greeting costumers. The food on average is a 4 with the only decent menu item is the braised wings if fresh and over priced.

Absolutely unacceptable! This place is the definition of rude and unprofessional. I ordered shrimp fried rice and was handed plain vegetable rice instead. When I pointed out their mistake, instead of fixing it properly or apologizing, the man behind the counter had the nerve to charge me an extra dollar for something he messed up.

China Cafeteria on Candler Road was a huge disappointment. The food looked like it had been sitting under heat lamps since yesterday dry, greasy, and completely flavorless at the same time (which is honestly impressive in the worst way). Nothing tasted fresh, and everything had that “why did I do this?” aftertaste.
The dining area felt grimy and neglected, which instantly kills your appetite. Customer service was just as cold as the food no greeting, no courtesy, just attitude. For a place calling itself a cafeteria, you’d expect at least edible food and basic cleanliness, but that bar wasn’t met. I left still hungry and annoyed. There are way too many better options nearby to waste your time here. Hard pass.

The food is always good! The service is as the employees just want to take your money and get you out they face. No smiling faces. Actually as I came in to order the guy in front of me was complaining about the lady at the front. I don’t know what transpired before I came in but she was being very sarcastic and rude. He asked for fresh wings, she said they would be there tomorrow and told him he asked a stupid question. The establishment is very outdated and just gives a very unclean vibe. Homeless people stand out front. Like I said the food is always good but no good customer service at all!

I haven’t been to this cafeteria in over 5 years. My granddaughter had never been. She asked to taste a piece of chicken And She Ruledly said No Tasty. All People of Color do not look the same. She Lost out on me buying 5 orders to only 2 ( and thats because my granddaughter still wanted to taste it) A nasty and rude young girl to a Senior and her Granddaughter.

I genuinely don’t understand how China Cafeteria on Candler Road is still open. The food looked like it had been sitting out since breakfast, smelled questionable, and tasted even worse. Everything was greasy, bland, and lukewarm at best. The dining area was dirty, tables sticky, floors unclean, and the overall vibe was straight-up neglected. Customer service? Practically nonexistent no warmth, no care, no urgency. This place feels like they stopped trying years ago and just hope people won’t notice. Save your money, save your stomach, and go literally anywhere else.
