Decent little Chinese place in rural ID. It’s nice when the only game in town still does a good job on the food. It can get a little busy sometimes during peak hours. I like their steamed pot stickers, their chicken and broccoli, and their mapo tofu. Worth checking out of you are in the area and have a craving for Chinese.

This place was great! The lady who served us was super kind and sweet. The food was delicious, and the prices weren’t bad. We got the broccoli beef and the sweet & sour chicken. Each were $9.75 as of August 2025. We’re definitely coming again!

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants you will ever visit. The food is cheap, plentiful, and delicious, and the staff are very kind people. Great service, too. Pictures are “General Chicken with fried rice,” “Broccoli Beef with lo mein,” and “Italian Cream Soda cherry flavored.” We come here often, and everything is consistently wonderful. Not pictured are the crab rangoons, which are delicious also. Definitely order them if you come in, you’ll love them!

Decent. Almond chicken was fresh, pork was dry. Had to ask again for the soy sauce after we were already halfway through our meal. Waitress seemed to get distracted easily.

The food was amazing, freshly made the Hong Kong way, nothing frozen. Great atmosphere and wonderful service by Sadie who was also very friendly and courteous with a wonderful upbeat attitude. The owner was very pleasant and cheerful. Definitely a go to place for fresh food and great service. I was so happy with the food I forgot my leftovers. Lol.

Some of the most unwelcoming waitresses and the food is very inconsistent. They served us raw pork and my husband got sick. We even heard them say put it in the microwave. We’ve given China Cafe too many chances as it is one of the only restaurants around but this last time was unforgettable.
