An excellent little restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and the prices were very fair. They have an amazing lunch special where you can get a plate of food and a side soup for less than $10. It’s hard to find deals like that, especially these days, so if you’re in downtown Syracuse and you want to get lunch, you have to come here!

Ordered the sesame chicken with pork fried rice and a fried shrimp egg roll. Service was simple and quick, took about 8 minutes. The food is above average for a Chinese takeout place. You can tell there is a degree of freshness in everything. The sesame chicken was fried perfect with a light crunch but not overpowering in sauce. The chicken itself was juicy and felt like it wasn’t frozen. The sauce also was different than usual, but in a good savory way. The rice by far was my favorite, it wasn’t greasy and had good chunks of pork and egg. It’s not yellow like other places, which I think is a good thing. The shrimp egg roll was the only letdown as I felt it was a bit too greasy but definitely not bad. I travel for work and am from NYC — take my review for what it is.

Best Chinese food in Syracuse. The ladies who run this place work their tails off, and always do it with a smile. They are always so kind to my family, and make our large family order exactly the way we like it. The food is always delicious, consistent and tastes fresh. Definitely recommend

If I could give this place all 0 stars I would! We r currently Inpatient with my child who has been fighting cancer and she wanted beef lo mein noodles so we ordered a small one and some through door dash! She was all excited for her noodles! I was feeding her picking out the stuff she doesn’t like in them and come across a dead bug!!! It had legs!!!! So she stopped eating them and I inspected the rest of the container and guess what? Another dead bug!!! We drove to the restaurant and they didn’t seem to care…said contact door dash for a refund…wasn’t about a refund it was about my immuno compromised child was eating those noodles with go only knows what kind of bugs!!! Never eat there!!!!

After I had already ordered and paid for my lunch, I stumbled upon the poor reviews on here and got nervous. I’m glad I stuck around! The lady at the register was very nice and my food was done within a few minutes. The portions were very generous – I got the sesame chicken lunch combo with the plumpest egg roll I’ve ever seen. I will frequent this place more often now.

Ordered from this place several times when im home….this time I was halfway thru my container of shrimp fry…and I bit into a bitter type of a pellet dropping….Never again…Sucks cuz there food is good

Not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but not the worst. The sesame chicken was coated in sauce and was still fresh and crispy. The fried rice was a bit bland. The egg roll didn’t have much flavor but the crunch was prevalent. The pork steamed buns had good flavor but the appearance was a bit disappointing. The buns haphazardly lumped together while the pork inside was about the size of the meatball. When I heated up my leftovers the next day, the fried rice and steamed buns tasted old like they were going bad. Just something to be aware of if you eat here. You may not want to keep leftovers.

Delicious food and really nice family that runs the restaurant. Don’t let the appearance fool you, the food is great and amazing prices. I loved the wonton soup the most, you can tell the wontons were made in house. My picture was after we started eating a bit!
