I visited for the first time, and was promptly greeted by a friendly woman. After I had ordered some food for takeout, she asked if I was new to the area because she had not seen me before. Indeed, I am fairly new to the area, and this was my first visit (I’m sure just the first of many visits). When I asked for a to-go menu, I was also given a beautiful calendar.
When I got home, I was amazed by how appetizing the food looked. I love that the hot and sour soup is unlike the soup you get at most other Chinese restaurants. Their soup has a little thinner consistency, but is so rich in flavor, and filled with veggies and tofu. They don’t skimp on the red chili flakes, either (which I like, but may be too hot for some).
I also ordered crab rangoons. I didn’t notice how many came in an order, and was pleasantly surprised to pay what I did for so many crab rangoons (8).
The chicken and black pepper sauce is delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly. You can see that it had been pan fried at one point, but the chicken was not at all dry.
Finally, I ordered the fried Chinese bread (Chinese donuts). The outside of the bread was perfectly fried. It had a nice crunch. And the inside was light and airy. Too many times, I have had them overcooked (resembling something more in line with a hockey puck), but these were perfectly prepared.
I loved the friendliness of the staff, and the acknowledgment/recognition of being new to the area. I guess they really know their customers (and have many return visitors).

I had the absolute BEST experience at this restaurant. The servers were amazing, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. Will definitely visit again soon!!

As an outsider visiting this place provides a good variety of food, looks can be deceiving but trust me it is really good, even locals come in and grab a plate to go for those that are on a short time. Family friendly and cozy atmosphere.

I was just up there with My dad and right about I was about to leave these 3 guys but 1 guy was sitting there being very rude and loud and kept cussing and I heard him saying something about a queer in some shirt so I got mad and I think of them was talking about me so anyhow if they are still there kick them out and tell them to don’t ever comeback because it’s rude to insult someone that just walked In with there father food was good and loved the eggrolls

I’m glad that we have something to choose from other than the 8 Mexican food options here in Rockdale. Thank goodness for that. Some days I don’t feel like being out in public and so I’ll get a to-go container, load it up with my favorites and pay $6.99 per pound of food. That’s not a crazy amount of money for a pound of food. It’s pretty good actually. My favorite is their fried shrimp, fried zucchini, they have this crab dish. I really don’t know what it’s called, but it’s white and it is so so yummy. My son loves their low mein noodles. I like their peppered chicken, too.

The food looked as if it had been out all day and not replenished at all. The variety of foods is astoundingly small and not very tasty. Overall, not worth the $ for the buffet.
