Food was ok. Pork ribs was not fresh, but ok. not the best Chinese taste and seasoning. Chicken wings was not Chinese taste more like American and not the best! Bathroom very bad old with hair everywhere. Will rate it 4 out of 10 fairly!!!

It’s not to often you go to a place for your first time and walk out with an experience that wasn’t similar to one you’ve had elsewhere. I tried a variety of dishes and many were pretty common for Chinese buffets and it was all good.
Nothing stood out until I tried the spicy wings. I tried to ask what the flavor was and they said buffalo, and I definitely got a hint of that, but they used another spice, and I could not figure it out until I started writing this review. It was like an Indian curry flavor and I pinned it asTurmeric, which I’m not a huge fan of, but it was perfect on these wings. The flavor wasn’t overpowering, but with every bite, I wanted more. I would go back just for these wings, lol.
5 star just because of the wings, and though it may not be everybody’s cup of tea, if you like wings and Indian Cuisine, I highly recommend trying the wings.

Picked up buffet to go. Tried all kinds of chicken, plus some lo mein. Everything tasted great. Was still plenty warm when I got home. The take out box is decent sized.
Should have remembered to get a plastic fork, though.

The food is good, the staff are very attentive, and polite!! Buffet is replenished with fresh food often.
I eat here every so often whenever I need some Chinese food, and haven’t been disappointed yet. The Shrimp in White sauce is like.. amazing.

Service is friendly but went at supper time for the buffet and the food was cold like refrigerator cold. Would not recommend. And when brought up to the management he agreed it was cold and went to fix the problem however getting charged 61$ for 4 buffets we only ate 1/2 plate each is ridiculous. Yes he went to kitchen to fix problem but not discounting the buffet when we left and didn’t want to wait for food is pretty bad service.

This place from first glance looks like it’s in need of some serious upgrades. As you walk in you notice an aquarium which isn’t a real shock to see, but the size of the fish in this small tank is really sad. There is roughly 20 fish and you can see that they are having a hard time swimming around each other. I’m not sure how old this place is, the site has only been on since 2022 according to the copyright. As you walk into China buffet you kind of feel like you walked back into an 80s style restaurant. The decorations seem to non authentic junk you could order online on amazon. some of the window shades were stained and broken, wall paper can be seen peeling on every wall and corner, some areas of the ceiling were covered with water stains from damage done to the roof either by last years snow or this years heavy rain. Either way it’s pretty appauling. I believe our host may have been the only one to speak english and was really pleasant asking what we would like to drink, but that was the only time we saw her haha The ambiance wasn’t very good at all. Along with the damage it’s just really dim and dark inside. But all of that aside the food was really good. Each piece of meat and fish was cooked really well, the food was food was fresh, our salads we made were great. I don;t always go to buffet and get great food, but when I do I am pleasantly surprided. I can’t say if I’d want to come back here regularly, but it would be a good stop every once in a great while. Whoever the cook/s that work here are phenomenal. Visited right b4 the lunch so I got to choose from the first round of servings, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfect. Just proves timing is everything. So I wouldn’t ever visit a buffet between 2pm-4pm or within an hour of closing.
Pricepoint -$14 + tip.
Staff – old man super friendly
Old lady….well……if this was a full service restaurant probably wouldn’t be employed there very long.
Decor – don’t judge a book by its cover. Seriously, ask yourself when was the last time you went to a Chinese restaurant that wasn’t dingy & dilapidated? It’s in Northern Minnesota, not Bejing, and it’s an old bank building. Sure they could fork over a cpl hundred to address the pealing wall paper & paint it themselves or a cpl thousand for new carpet, but are you eating off the floor? Licking the walls?
Parking is a little challenging on the street so at that time of day, but I found a parking lot behind the build big enough for my truck & camper.
If this place was in the cities they’d be charging $25/person and they’d be packed every night. Be thankful their only charging $14 for an unlimited supply of delicious food because they could easily start charging $18/person even in Northern Minnesota.
