This buffet offers excellent value for the price. The variety is quite rich, and the chicken options are especially delicious—tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Staff is friendly, and everything feels fresh and satisfying. Definitely worth what you pay!

Was in the area also didn’t really want to spend much so decided to go see if I could find a nice little Chinese takeout spot and end up coming across a random buffet. They also do offer takeout but it’s six dollars a pound so I decided to stay in and eat for their $11.99 buffet. Honestly, the food quality is quite random I wouldn’t say it was really bad but it wasn’t the best seem very much. Homemade a lot of interesting options such as honey chicken Mongolian pork some fried shrimp options. Also they did offer vegetarian sushi if you’re in a mood for something like that. Had some great choices the price was definitely about right but I know of better buffet option in Duluth GA if your willing to drive

I tried China Buffet for the first time, today, and was pleasantly surprised. I placed a to-go order for Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, and Fried Rice — three entrees that are generally a good test of the skill and quality of a local Chinese restaurant.
The Lo Mein was good and the serving size appropriate for the price. I do think it was a little heavy on the oil, but compared to the other restaurants within 15 minutes of Decatur, it was 4-out-of-5 (two out-of five is typical for Lo Mein in the Atlanta Metro area).
I thought the Mongolian Beef was surprisingly flavorful and perfectly velveted and stir fried. My only complaint is that the sauce was a little too sweet (which I know is odd to say given the nature of the dish); I also though the sauce was too watery (could have used a little thickener), and needed a “little” heat. And while my issues may seem overly critical, if the dish wasn’t good, I wouldn’t even bother to review.
Lastly, the Fried Rice was good, albeit rushed to the plate. I would kill for a local Chinese restaurant that has the time and skill to deliver Wok Hei. Although, to be fair, the demands of a buffet (mass production) are different from that of a sit-down restaurant.
Despite my critiques, the take-out food was good and the service very fast. I’ll try three other dishes from China Buffet next week (I will try Dine-in) and report back. Fingers crossed!

They do not have a big selection and the food was a little below average. Chinese food in Metro Atlanta is just not good.
Update 5.26.25
Decided to come back and give this place another try after seeing the latest reviews. My 2 star rating remains unchanged. Not a big selection and the food had very little flavor. People need to travel more. This is a below average buffet.

The food was awesome. I love being able to have all of my favorite foods in one place so I enjoyed every plate. My daughter also went back several times as well

First off , we were greeted very warmly and the atmosphere was very vibrant and welcoming. Secondly, the price range was steller as well as the offered time frames for the different meals offered throughout the day. And most importantly the food was AMAZING! Let this be no exaggeration when i say i kept coming back for more, and i never out my fork down. Well temperature kept, cleaniness superb, good service ans food was very tasty! I’ll be revisting

Food is not bad at all, the most affordable inexpensive buffet in metro atlanta, not a big buffet but the items they have are good and they have the main dishes chinese buffets have. The lo mein was greasy, but curry chicken, chik n brocc, and honey chicken was good. Ive been here many times, great for lunch especially if youre near the VA hospital. I paid $11.80 for lunch buffet dine-in

Do not come for lunch and eat anything off the buffet after 3pm…. Even though the lunch buffet is until 3:30…
Or they will charge you dinner prices….
And the food is not distinguishable enough from one item to the next… to pay the dinner prices…
Or if you get conned…. Like we did….
Eat all the shrimp and expensive items you can…
Go on a bender and purge it later.
I use to enjoy this place, but adding to no go list…
