Everything is a five! The family, and especially the son the very nice boy who is always so helpful, and kind along with his parents. Steven helps us pick the best dishes! My sister Solara refuses to go to any other Asian restaurant. The food here is exquisite! Very flavorful, and multidimensional. Perfect for a quick lunch while my dog was getting groomed. Had the shrimp with garlic sauce. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Huge portion for lunch. Had a great conversation with one of the owners .Definitely going back to try other dishes.

My gf and I got take out from here on Thanksgiving (we didn’t have the energy to cook this year), and it was such an incredible experience, I had to leave a review! The staff was exceptionally sweet despite working on a holiday, and they gave us a couple little treats for ordering there. They included a free 2 liter of Mtn Dew, a really cute “wall scroll” with the 2026 calendar, AND a super cute Labubu keychain! I couldn’t believe it, she just kept handing us free stuff haha!
And, the food was AMAZING, absolute best fried dumplings that I’ve had at any Chinese spot in town. They have spicy orange beef on their menu, which is a good sign because that’s my favorite Chinese takeout dish, and it was incredible! Everything was just superb, and this will definitely be our Chinese spot from here on out! 10/10!

Family owned and operated, very friendly staff, food is good, and one of the few places in this college town that still offers a Lunch Special that’s filling with a free drink for under $10, and dinner menu is still reasonably priced in this crazy economy. Plus, they now sell Boba Tea for $5.

I had a great experience at this Chinese restaurant! The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our food came out quickly, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the sesame chicken with pork fried rice, and it was delicious – the flavors were spot on and the portion was generous. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Best Chinese place in all of Gainesville, the people there are so sweet and very generous with their food portions. The prices are not expensive and their boba tea is so good! Especially the peach and strawberry fruit tea. 10/10 recommend

Food here is always fresh and delicious. The food is great quality and far more affordable than competing Chinese restaurants. A free 2 liter soda is included when you spend 50 dollars or more. I recommend the special friend rice, the barbecue spare ribs, and the orange chicken. I have tried other Chinese takeout restaurants nearby, and they simply do not complete. This food slaps and never disappoints!

This is THE BEST Food in Town in my opinion. Clean place Great people great customer service. Their food is hot and fresh and tastes amazing with a lot of a lot of options. The chicken fried rice with vegetables is fire. I would highly recommend everyone to stop by here.

I love Chinese cuisine and this was the first time I ordered from China 88. When we got home I took the first bite of the egg roll I thought to myself, hmm, that sure taste like old Greece! Then my wife says, I can’t eat it something isn’t right with this. Then my daughter says, Dad, can you taste this chicken and tell me why it taste like fish and slime? Well she was very right. So my wife called them and told them how we felt about the meal and they were very nice about it. The table had dried food on it. They refunded our money without any hesitation. I only wish the food would have been better but the workers could not have been any nicer.
