If you’ve seen the reviews you’d be inclined to visit but before you do, here’s my thoughts.
First up, the workers all appears to be underage and I mean very underage. It could be. Family owned restaurant but when you don’t see an adult the entire visit, you wonder. They were quiet and didn’t make any recommendations even when asked.
The sesame chicken was pretty fresh. I didn’t think it was the best I’ve had but better than average for sure.
The place is a whole in the wall but was clean.
If you’re looking for a quick fix, this place will take care of it. If you’re looking for the best Chinese in or around Topeka… keep looking.

Just like all the little small town restaurants from my childhood. This is one of those “well-kept secrets” that should get out. I just happened to be heading north from Topeka hungry as all get out and wanting something other than chain restaurants burgers. All the food was hot, delicious and on the table within 15 minutes of ordering. Their family dinner ordering options make it very economical to order for two. Waitress was extremely pleasant and efficient. The place smelled clean and pleasant. I am planning to bring family here when they visit NE KS.

Always good food and good service. On this particular day-I arrived to pick up a carryout order. Got there and realized that I had placed the order to the Hiawatha location. I was pressed for time, but, they were still able to get my order ready for me to take out the door within 5 minutes.

Nice, little place to eat. Middle of summer and most places are full of flies but not this place. I didn’t see one fly anywhere. Maybe it was because there wasn’t a lot of people going in and out to let flies in? The General Tao’s chicken was really good(Could have been spicier) and my friend enjoyed her meal too. I’m definitely coming back to enjoy this quiet, tasty, filling place.

food is generally good, mid week cook got the broccoli beef very tender and the oil used on the sweet and sour and sesame chicken and fried rice was fresh, not burnt, everything was yummy.
weekends are generally hit and miss I’ve had both good and not so great fried rice.

Good people. My 2 year old started getting worked up and coughing, (we told no to putting chopsticks in her moms drink) but we did our best to calm her down, but the employees all came to see if she was ok. It’s good to know others are there and care. All in all, great place.
