Absolutely loved this place! I ordered the shrimp with mixed vegetables in garlic sauce, and it was incredibly delicious—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The service was amazing too! Everyone was super polite and friendly. Definitely a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend China One Chinese Food! I’ll be coming back for sure!

I ordered the lunch special chicken with mixed vegetables to-go, and it was absolutely perfect. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the veggies were fresh and cooked just right–still crisp with a great mix of colors and textures. Portion size was generous, and everything was packed neatly and stayed warm until I got home. Great value for the price. Will definitely be coming back for more lunches like this!

I don’t typically make food reviews, but I will say this is worth it. The food here is phenomenal. When I finished eating,I was completely stuffed and hardly made a dent in my food. I have at least three meals worth of food left over and I got everything for around $18. The service is relatively fast. I only waited about 10 minutes, which is good because I don’t really have time on my lunch break. 10/10 service and I will definitely be back.

We order at lease once a week it is usually good but this time i got the wrong order. the lady on the phone was Arguing with me. She said she’ll send it up to the complaint department and someone would call me back. I told her this is the restaurant that I called You should fix it, But what about my lunch? I didn’t have it because they got the order wrong, no one call me back. So that kind of tells me they really don’t care about their customers.

I received a menu on my door And thought I would give this restaurant a try. I called and placed my order at 2:59 PM for an L2 which was the chicken cashew on the lunch combo menu. I subbed the drink for egg drop soup and assumed that an eggroll would come with the combination. I don’t see very well sometimes, so I didn’t realize this, but I was clear when I told her I was ordering an additional eggroll so I would have two eggrolls. She never told me that an eggroll did not come with that combination. I had to repeat to her after she kept saying wonton soup on the phone several times I wanted egg drop soup. I picked up my order at 3:30 and I wondered why it was almost $16 When the lunch combo is $9.95. When I got in the car and couldn’t figure out why It would be that much,I called her. She first said it’s because I picked up my order at 3:30 PM. I said, but I ordered it at 3 PM. That would be the lunch menu and not the dinner menu. Then her next reasoning was, she charged me an extra dollar for substituting the soup Which there was no mention of an up charge on the phone at all. When I got home, I only had one eggroll and I called her back and she said an eggroll didn’t come with it. It was all around a horrible experience and the food was awful. If I could score them zero stars I would because there was no flavor whatsoever to their food. China Taste, please forgive me for cheating on you. I will never do it again. I have learned a valuable lesson and in the meantime, I lost money on a meal that couldn’t be explained, and had to throw it away. I will also note that when I called her back About the egg roll, she hung up on me. I don’t know if she is the owner, but she was rude. They overcharged me l, could not explain why, and the food was awful. Don’t make my mistake. Just go to China Taste!

I want to start this off by saying I almost NEVER eat from these Chinese restaurants. Most are subpar and unhealthy. But I said screw it, I’m craving some tonight.
I ordered a General Tso chicken and Chicken Lo Mein and the food quality was absolutely terrible. Every piece of chicken I bit into was mostly coated/flour, with some of the pieces dissolving in my mouth. I would say 25% chicken 75% coater. The breaded chicken comes pre coated and frozen. Surprise.
You ask if you can get it fresh and they tell you EVERYTHING is fresh. But I mean, fresh marinated chicken with the chicken coated to order. Is this too much to ask? With all these healthy restaurants popping up around Sarasota, I don’t see these guys competing and staying in business. Honestly this review is making me want to start my own Chinese restaurant, making FRESH dishes with healthy ingredients at reasonable prices. The only thing close to this are the JPans and Daruma’s.

They have the absolutely best chicken mushu I have ever had! It has thinly sliced chicken, bean sprouts, mushrooms, matchstick carrots, Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, thinly sliced green peppers and water chestnuts. The sauce is delicious and I was really impressed!

This is my favorite Chinese go to! The egg rolls are always great. I ordered the shrimp combo platter with pork fried rice. The rice was only dry brown rice with diced up pork mixed into it. Very disappointed. My fiancé ordered the general tso and the rice was the same.
