China 1 has been my go-to Chinese takeout spot for at least 13 years. I’ve lived in different parts of the area over that time, and I’ll gladly drive past two other Chinese restaurants just to order from here.
The food is always consistent, which is honestly one of the most important things with takeout. Every time we order, it tastes just as good as the last time. Orders are also ready incredibly fast, which makes it perfect when you just want to grab dinner without waiting forever.
The staff has always been very friendly whenever we come in, and the whole process is quick and easy. For Chinese takeout, it’s simply one of the best around.
It’s also pretty easy to get in and out of the plaza, which makes pickup simple. But the real reason to go is the food — the quality is noticeably better than most other places nearby.
After all these years, it’s still our go-to spot. Hard to say enough good things about China 1

I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews so I’ll keep mine simple: China 1 is a good place to grab Chinese to go. I’ve been coming here for a few years and in my experience: The service is good (they’ll take your order quickly and give you an ETA), the food is of consistent quality (I’ve yet to order something I thought was bad), and the food is prepared quickly. It is what it is, and, for what it is, it’s good.

I love stopping by to grab one of their lunch specials! They have plenty of options and everything is reasonably priced. Their lunch specials come with a full container of your choice entree and you can either get an egg roll or a drink with your meal without paying extra.
Everything is cooked fresh, made to order. My current favorite is the cashew chicken but the sweet and sour chicken is delicious too!
Service is quick; you can expect to spend 15-20 minutes there unless there is a lot of people in front of you or you have a large order. This is a walk in establishment with no interior dining but there are chairs available to sit if you choose while you wait for your food.
Definitely best lunch option in the area!

Food is absolutely delicious… if you want a FLAVOR BOMB in your mouth come here , and SUPER fresh BEST crab rangoons I’ve ever had the filling was a burst of flavor and the wrap wasnt too thin or too thick it was literally perfect even the sauce to dip it in was amazing…you can tell the crab rangoons were made from scratch and the recipe has been perfected. The rice is very flavorful the sweetness from the peas and the savoriness from the onion is the perfect combination,noodles are soft and uniquely made in the best way possible. the most savory fried wings I’ve ever had, very crispy and juicy. And the fortune cookie was also very yellow not pale you can tell it’s good quality and I like how it actually does have a fortune in it not just a quote like in other places and in the back a word in Chinese so you can learn. They definitely put love into their food THANK YOU, I will definitely be coming back please keep doing what you’re doing it’s impeccable

Absolutely ridiculous and make zero sense! They offer various combination platters, and have multiple types of lo mein, but no, House special. Typically, House special costs a couple more dollars, but they charge the same for house special by itself as they do for beef, pork, or shrimp. So they told me that they absolutely could not do a house special combo platter, that they don’t do that. They said we don’t do three meats on a combination platter and as a business owner myself, I completely understand we all gotta make money. So I happily offered to pay a couple dollars more, he said no. So why does the price not change when you’re buying a pint or a quart whether it be house special, beef, shrimp, etc. but you can’t do that in a combo; even though I’m offering to pay A couple dollars more? He said that he could charge me, but it would run like 10 more dollars. He could not tell me anything to help me make it make sense. I then let him know I was New to the area and needed to find a new Chinese spot and he was gonna lose a new customer and it didn’t seem to bother him. I will never go back in that place again. It also had a greasy/grimy feel and look to the place. Oh, and my favorite part was the actual bulletproof glass and I get people put partitions up from Covid, But this was Legit bulletproof glass that You have to talk through the little metal vent. Definitely somewhere to stay away from if you prefer anybody that prepares your food and you give your money to having integrity or logic and Clorox cleaner….

We decided to do take out here last minute and it was easy to order and not too busy on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was kind of hard to understand the cashier when they spoke but I eventually made it out when they asked if I wanted eggroll or soda.
Bourbon Chicken: 2/5, we were able to make it spicy but it wasn’t as flavorful even though it smelled very good.
Beef Pepper Steak: 4/5, it was delish.
Vegetable Lomein: 5/5, probably the best lomein I’ve ever had.
The pork fried rice that comes with it is very plain, bland and no flavor whatsoever. Overall, it’s not a bad place but it’s not a place I would do takeout often at.

The rice that came with the beef and broccoli tasted weird. It tasted like a box and I wasn’t too fond of it. The beef and broccoli had so much more other veggies that it might as well have been veggies with a hint of broccoli. The guy who calls out your order mumbles so no one really knows who’s order is coming up. My first and definitely my last time here. I should’ve waited the 15 minutes for fresh chicken wings at Publix. Never again making this mistake.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. I didn’t realize she couldn’t hear me so she literally yelled me to speak louder. I was shock but thought it was cool, she was under a lot of stress.
However, it was not only me, it was for everybody in the store. Told me 10 minutes and after that time passed I stood up and went there, but she told me that it was not ready yet in a very rude way.
I usually take it chill but hopefully we can learn that being stress it’s not an excuse to treat people badly.
