We refused to eat from the Chinese restaurant in Starke. Drove to Lake Butler and it was definitely worth it. Bourbon chicken was delicious and the Beef and Broccoli was amazing. Of course got egg drop soup and crab Rangoon with it. Everything was amazing with only exception is the crab Rangoon could have been a bit bigger. Definitely worth the drive.

I love this place! Once a month I get to go to Lake Butler and I always stop by here and get lunch before I head back to Ocala! They are so friendly and kind!

The food here is good. My wife gets a special order and they get it right every time. It’s shrimp angel hair pasta but spiced up with curry powder. I get the house special lo mien. We also like the shrimp egg rolls and dumplings.

Just got the fried dumplings and they are very good with a nice dipping sauce. We also our regular stuff described above and it was very good. My wife said the shrimp egg rolls were especially good today.

Tried China One tonight and it was so good! I placed my order over the phone and within my driving distance to the restaurant it was ready. The lady at the counter was nice and the food was hot and fresh. I got the sweet and sour chicken combination plate and my boyfriend got the bourbon chicken combination plate, we also got some extra egg rolls and some egg drop soup. For everything I spent just over $30 and for the price there was so much food that we definitely have lunch for tomorrow! I’ll be ordering from them again for sure.

Excellent Chinese, absolutely astounding that this is in Lake Butler. The food here is far superior to most of the Chinese take out available in Gainesville and surrounding areas. Owners are friendly and kind. I can’t believe it took me six years to try it! Look forward to eating here again soon!

Pleasant staff, pretty good food for a little town. I’ve only eaten here once so far but plan on trying out more of their menu. I enjoyed my combo meal, the fried rice was really good and I think the egg roll was better than a lot I’ve tried.

Typically, the food is what you’d expect from a take out Chinese restaurant. But every now and then, I get something sub par. Today, EVERYTHING was sub par. The General Tso’s was very obviously about 1/4 General Tso’s mixed with 3/4 sweet and sour chicken. Not terrible, but not what I ordered. And they didn’t even say “hey we ran out”. Nothing. The vegetable lo mein had no sauce. The egg rolls are usually pretty good. This time? They were mostly egg roll wrapper. Hardly any filling. They were slightly larger in thickness than a hot dog. Pork fried rice was ok, but bland. Disappointed all the way around. Guess I’ll be picking up Chinese before I hit Lake Butler from now on.

I called in my order, said I’d like pork lo mein and Hunan shrimp. When I asked about what time it’d be ready, they’d already hung up. So I get there and wait in line for 2 ppl ahead of me for a while — they were busy I guess. About 10 minutes, I finally get to the counter and the worker calls for the person behind me before waiting on me. Idk why. But the worker / owner was rude about it. I get my food, ask for extra soy sauce , but they’re stingy on that. I get home and I’ve got pork lo mein with rice (since it’s already got noodles, there’s no need for rice, IMHO) and beef and broccoli. Not what I ordered and bland as hell. Not going back. 2 stars cuz I didn’t get food poisoning.
