Everything was amazing from start to finish. The Thai tea was so fresh and flavorful, perfectly sweet and refreshing. We ordered the BBQ pork spare ribs and they were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. But the shrimp toast? Next level. It had the perfect crisp on the outside, and inside it just melted in your mouth. The apricot dipping sauce with it was such a good touch sweet, tangy, and paired perfectly.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and you could tell this place is BUSY. I could see the kitchen screens constantly filling up with to-go orders Uber Eats and more just rolling in nonstop — and the kitchen staff never stopped moving. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant stays that busy.
It’s located upstairs, which you reach by escalator. On the way out the escalator wasn’t working, so we just used it as stairs no big deal, just something to note as not sure if they turn off at a certain time.
Overall, such a great experience. I’ll definitely be back — and now I understand why my partner has been counting down the days for authentic Chinese food like this.
We came in craving classic orange chicken and were genuinely surprised by how good everything was. The Orange Chicken, incredible. Crispy, balanced, and not overly sweet. The Mongolian Style BBQ Beef was rich and savory and paired perfectly with rice. The Dan Dan Spicy Noodles had great depth and heat and were one of those dishes you keep going back to.
For starters, the Garlic Chili Crisp Wontons were bold and flavorful, and the Pan-Fried Pork Potstickers were classic and well executed. Even the Thai Iced Tea was solid. Portions were generous, we had leftovers, and every dish we tried is something we would order again. Service was great, the dining room is upstairs, and underground parking makes this an easy Ventura Blvd stop.
Pro tips:
Must order the Orange Chicken
Do not skip the Garlic Chili Crisp Wontons
Get the Dan Dan Spicy Noodles if you like heat
What really makes it special though is the service. The manager, Saeed, is incredible and truly cares about every guest’s experience. He creates such a welcoming atmosphere and you can tell he puts his heart into the restaurant.
Our server Ray is also the best — he’s always super nice, funny, and makes the whole experience even better. He just brings such good energy to the table def recommend this place
Always the most incredible experience as always ! The flavors were on point, the portions were generous, and the customer service was top-notch.
The server was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Thank you nicole!!!! The food arrived quickly, and the presentation was gorgeous. I ordered the chicken lettuce cups, garlic green beans and the chicken dumplings and it was love at first bite! The combination of spices and textures was perfection.
If you’re a foodie like me, you need to add this spot to your list ASAP. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!
Highly recommend!
Thank you so much again to our amazing server Nicole and Saeed the assistant manager!!! ❤️❤️
Most dishes were good. A bit too sweet and oily, but delicious nonetheless. The service is outstanding and the decor and ambiance are lovely. Free parking is a big plus.
We got 3 dishes and the general Tso’s chicken was the best.
The noodles were excessively oily, but they tasted decent. Sweet and sour chicken is also worth trying.
