Before my experience, I would have given Chimi’s a 4 or 5 star, but I had a terrible experience hosting a party in their back room. We called 2 weeks prior to a 40th birthday party asking for the back room. Gave someone all of our info, name, number, and number of people attending. Upon arrival, the staff had no idea of our party and were very rude at wanting to accommodate us. At one point, telling us they will not do separate checks for our guests and suggested we “come back tomorrow” if we don’t like it. Well, with 20-25 people attending, that was not an option.

I just can’t say enough good things about this place!! The service is the best of any place around, always friendly and attentive. The food is wonderful and tasty, and the prices are great. Always able to find a table for our larger parties of 7 or more.

Went there with a group of 5 people. We were seated right away on a Saturday evening around 7pm. We sat in the far back of the restaurant. The alcohol was excellent, the food was delicious! The server forgot about us, but other than that it was a good experience. I will definitely try them again.

This restaurant has been my go to favorite Mexican place for years! Javier is my favorite — he has immaculate service and manners. He is an amazing person. The food is delicious i try to rotate what I get. My go to is Margarita Dip and Chimis chicken.

Better overall! Daughter&I had the Fajitas with everything. Deeeelicious.In the past,Fajitas were so bland.I asked waiter if cooks changed.He said they DO have 1 new cook.I said,”give that cook a raise!”Told him how good a taste food was.Horchata was good according to my daughter.I would have given a 5,but as usual,no acknowledgement that we’re here,until I stood up and waiter saw me.He DID give good service.

Another fabulous experience catering from Chimi’s in Cottleville. Marlon- the manager – is the BEST – the food is always tasty and authentic- plentiful too! Dining in is also wonderful- the servers are super helpful , food is served quickly and margaritas are top notch . We highly recommend this restaurant.

Best chimis location in st louis. The manager Marlon is so personable and friendly. He makes you feel like family. I’ve been coming to this location for years now and wouldn’t come back if it wasn’t for him and his team. All the servers are super friendly and make good conversation with me. Food is always amazing and the portions are great. Drinks are strong too if you like that.
