We would call ourselves more of a bar who serves great food than a restaurant with a bar! This isn’t just another Mexican Restaurant with beans and rice. Chimichanga Llama is a fun and eclectic Latin-inspired Cantina with tastes and flavors from all over Central and South America. Garage doors provide an open air feel inside the Cantina. Ocean views and breezes from our wrap around outside deck and patio make for el fresco dining and drinking perfection. We offer live entertainment, two bars serving signature cocktails and colorful plates of fresh, delicious food.

Would go back, although I thought it was a just little pricey (as with just about everywhere else here)
I truly hate leaving bad reviews (you can check my track record), but this experience was rough. We spent close to $80, tipped generously over 20% as always, yet ended up having to throw all our food away. Definitely not worth it.
Stopped in the other day for lunch and was greeted by the entire staff sitting around on their phones even though there were customers in the restaurant. Eventually someone said sit anywhere. He ended up being our server. Asked how many people we had…7.. gave us 4 menus. No drink menus. Took our drink order.. forgot 2 of them so we just never got those sprites.. I guess he decided we needed water instead..
The bar drinks took entirely too long considering we only ordered a margaritas, watermelon lemonade thing, and a mojito. That mojito was truly sooo awful. Im certain they forgot to add simple syrup.
We then ordered some starters. No plates, napkins, or silverware were brought out until 15 minutes later when our server finally emerged out of the kitchen with a side of fries we had ordered. Skimpy portions.
When he took our order I noticed he couldn’t have even been bothered enough to take his ear buds out while waiting on us. Sad excuse of a waiter. And… truly a sad excuse for management for allowing such poor service to be given in their restaurant.
I would love to say its because the boss was away and the mice will play or something like that but the owner was sitting (loudly) right behind us and I saw 3 managers come and go multiple times.
When our food comes out it was sloppily plated. Some of it looked like actual baby food.. there was also 2 separate chicken bones in my chimichanga…. our waiter never checked back so I could bring it to attention. The only time seeing him after getting our food was when he dropped our check off..
You should expect your employees to do better and push them to be better. Hold them to a certain standard or get rid of them. If you cant do that? Expect to lose a lot of customers based off poor service and chicken bones alone…
