Chimichanga is one of the residents and worth stopping at to try their tasty meal options, and fantastic dessert!
Owner is great to talk to and will give you recommendations and suggestions based on your foodie requirements.
Seating is ample, but a sturdy takeaway bag helps if you’re not feeling it, or the weather decides not to play ball.

Delicious, huge, fresh pulled pork chimmys with the best Mexican rice I’ve ever had, refried beans and salsa to die for! The chilli and lime chips were awesome!
My daughter and I were well fed and full for less than $25.

Amazing chicken chimi bowl – highly recommend the aji de pina to accompany. The seasoning on the chili lime fries was also incredible. Good value for each dish. Really nice guy to boot and great customer service. Will definitely be back.

Ordered via delivereasy with a request in the order comments/notes to remove an ingredient due to an intolerance, got a call not long later ensuring my meal would meet my requirements. Once the meal arrived, not only was it delicious (especially the dessert apple chimichanga) but there was a note explaining the meal alterations we’d talked about on the phone. Speaking as an American these are some of the best Chimichangas I have had. Wow! Yum! Highly recommend. He even made cauliflower taste great. I had all four Chimichangas (chicken, pork, beef, and cauliflower) and would eat them all again. Pico de gallo was very solid also. Good value for money also as you get sides of refried beans, rice, and pico. Great selection of sauces, some quite spicy. Would tell a friend and will go again.

Tried Chimichanga at Te Ramaroa Nelson Light Festival. (So menu pictured may differ). I got the single vegetarian which was tasty and a dairy free option as they use vegan cheese. The only thing to mention was the rice and refried beans were cold and unsure if they should have been? Otherwise I would eat here again.
