I ordered the Longaniza con Tostones from Chimi Café. The longaniza didn’t have much flavor and seemed undercooked, and the tostones were soft instead of crispy. On the bright side, the lady who took my order was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better.

I don’t even know where to start. The maduros for the yaroa disgusting. It was like a purple color & the taste wow they had to blended like in a blender and watered down. . . So unauthentic!!!!!! The rest of the food was a disappointment.

We ordered 5 Chimis and I did not expect the cabbage(repollo) to be so hard. At $10-$12 I would expect that they would know how to properly cook vegetables. The meal comes with fries, and to be a “hispanic” place they were heavily unseasoned and soggy. Not ordering from here again, I learnt my lesson.

Stop by for lunch. 1st time. Ordered beef chimi burger and plataton with Roast Pork. They were good but burger meat pattie paper thin n very lil roast pork on plataton. What the sandwiches cost require more meat in my opinion. Will not recommend tho.

I ordered fritura and it was bad. I did not get the cheese or the longaniza. The pig ears were disgustingly greasy and unseasoned. Barely any plantains or fries. For 48 dollars I expected decent food. Save your money, Skip this place.
