The Happy Hour menu pricing was $6-15 for various items. Not bad, not great. However, the Happy Hour items are Half Size, not the normal Full Size portions on the regular menu. See photos for example pf Half Size.
This is a scam to me! In my opinion. Why indicate Half Price when you’re giving Half Portions.
I’m use to Full Size Portions at Half Price for Happy Hour.
Nevertheless, the one bright thing is the food was very fresh and good.
However, I will never go back there based on the Flim-Flam Happy Hour pricing and Portions.
Just my opinion.

And every time we come Silvia is amazing serving us making us feel at home.
.
Thank you all you’re doing an amazing job!
. Will be back for the lunch specials
My only recommendation would be have the busboy sweep outside a little more often. There were a bunch of cigarette butts left in a pile outside by the table next to the door.
What truly sets CHIM apart is their unwavering commitment to authenticity. In a world where “Thai” food can sometimes be a watered-down version of the real deal, CHIM consistently delivers flavors that transport you straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok. Every dish I’ve had here, without exception, has been on point. The balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy is masterfully achieved, a testament to genuine Thai culinary expertise.
For my fellow pescatarian and vegetarian friends, CHIM is a dream come true. Their Vegetarian Pad Thai is a standout – perfectly stir-fried rice noodles, crisp bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and a vibrant sauce that sings with flavor. It’s a dish that exemplifies their dedication to fresh ingredients and traditional preparation, proving that vegetarian options can be just as rich and satisfying.
Beyond the Pad Thai, their curries are rich and aromatic, the sushi is impeccably fresh, and even simple appetizers like the spring rolls are crafted with care. The consistency of quality is truly remarkable; you can visit CHIM any day of the week, and the food will be just as authentic and delicious as your last visit.
The staff are always welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. If you’re in Plantation and craving truly authentic Thai cuisine, look no further than CHIM AUTHENTIC THAI AND SUSHI BAR. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a genuine taste of Thailand right here in South Florida.
I was greeted immediately and the staff is super attentive. You can definetly feel the personal touch.
I wanted to try the noddles but looking at the sushi bar, I had to try the tuna. A tuna roll and an ikura sashimi later I was super delighted! I could taste the freshness and the good ingredients.
The Pad Kee Mao was steaming when brought to my table! The noodles were super good, great texture. The sauce was a bit sweet but went great.
I will definetly come again to try more rolls and noodles.
Service was kind though they were confused when I asked about some of their fancier looking nigiri. I’m under the impression they don’t stock that as frequently so I had to stick with more classic fish options. It was still ok, but not as unique as I’d wanted.
The restaurant is clean and nicely designed. They have a parking lot up front and high chairs available as well.
