We’ve been regulars at Chiludos since they opened about a year ago and have always loved it — great food and great service. Unfortunately, today’s lunch was a huge letdown.

We ordered our usual: birria tacos, elote, spicy salsas, plus a cucumber jalapeño margarita and a pineapple margarita. There was confusion with our drink order that we had to clarify. Our tacos were delivered first, then our drinks arrived, and the elote (our appetizer) came last, which made the whole experience feel disorganized.

When the food arrived, it was shocking. The birria tacos were lukewarm, with soggy tortillas, and the meat was incredibly bland — something we have never experienced here before. The spicy salsas we requested when we first sat down didn’t arrive until much later, and our server didn’t check back in until we were basically finished picking at the food.

On top of that, we were dealing with fruit flies at the table, and the constant zapping sound of an electric fly swatter our server was using behind the bar was extremely off-putting during a meal.

The most confusing part is how much this place has changed. New owners? New kitchen staff? An off day? Whatever it was, the quality and overall experience were far below what Chiludos used to be.

We spent $67, left still hungry, and are now heading to a taco truck — something we never thought we’d say after eating here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this new restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. I sampled three different tacos: tripas, chicharrón, and trompo. While all were tasty, the crispy tripas taco was the standout—absolutely fantastic! If I had one suggestion, it would be to consider making horchata in-house. The current version tastes like it’s from a mix and is unfortunately quite watered down, which didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the meal.

First time here, we were waiting for the new to wear off. It didn’t disappoint! My wife had the the Bistec street tacos which she enjoyed, I had one Bistec, one Trompo, but not my favorite, but my absolute favorite was the Tripitas taco. A delicacy in our community and it did not disappoint! Spot on guys! Our server, Osbaldo was great, very attentive! The Mango margarita was awesome!

UPDATE!!! Went back again on Sunday for lunch, and again it didn’t disappoint, neither did Osbaldo our waiter! Thank you Chuludos! I am one who post the truth about my food so be prepared to hear the truth and if hurt feelings, well sorry! Not here though!

I decided to try Chiludos Fine Tacos for a quick solo lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, and I was seated right away. However, it did take a little longer than expected for the waitress to take my order, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy—but she was very friendly. The food was good, though I was hoping for a bit more taste wise . I’ll probably give it another try and order a different dish next time.

NEVER AGAIN. I had my friend order me and my husband fajita tacos and they put eggs on them?! The fajita is tiny and nasty so at this point I just want a refund. The lady tries to argue with me and say my friend asked for eggs.. I said no mam I was on the phone with her when she was ordering them.. she’s like I am not sure if we can refund you the owner isn’t here. What?! 20 mins later someone finally assists me and she only refunds her for 2 tacos after I repeatedly said 3. In the photo there are 3 tacos in the box in which I handed them. So I was not only given the wrong food they also ripped me off.

Updated: food inconsistent, service so slow for no reason. Fizzled out for me and no longer recommend.

I saw a review of the fideo soup pop up in Google maps and decided to give this place a try.

The food was all delicious but our server was NOT very quick or attentive. Our appetizer was served by another server and we didn’t have silverware or appetizer plates to eat it with, we had to ask and wait to be brought them but she did bring them back quickly. Our server never checked on us. Our food was served by a very happy friendly man, he was so nice. Again we didn’t see our server to check if we needed drinks or if our food was correct. We had another person join us and had to ask the happy man for a menu and he took the new order. The only other time we saw our server he brought our new person water and the machine for me to pay on.

The fideo soup looked different than the other reviewers photo. It didn’t have many noodles in my opinion and it needed some more flavor, I added salt and cilantro and onions another person pulled off their tacos and I crunched up chips in the broth to add something to it. I would’ve asked for more cilantro but again the server. The chicken taquitos served with it are so delicious and full of chicken! They were stellar!

The el pastor meat was very flavorful.

The chicken tacos meat was a little dry.

The corn appetizer- forgot to take a photo, was delicious but a little awkward to eat since there is still some cob on it.

The restaurant is so cute and more spacious inside than I imagined.

Returned for breakfast and it was delicious and reasonable priced using good quality ingredients, plated beautifully and served hot.

Family owned and operated. We had the fresh guacamole with our chips and salsa. They offer three salsa that they bring to the table each one is very delicious. We had the street tacos, carne en su jugo, and the Alambre. Everything was very fresh and cooked to order. This was our first time and definitely will not be our last!

This was my second time visiting and this experience was a bit different than my first time. Still excellent service, nice strong drinks!! BARTENDER ROCKS BY THE WAY! but the beef was tacos that I ordered dripped a half of gallon of grease. I would advise anyone wanting to order beef bring a bib!!

Genuinely the best tacos I’ve ever had! The meat is tender and juicy, the tortillas thin and delicious, the onion and the cilantro fresh!! I loved them. I had lengua, al pastor, barbacoa, and a small guacamole. The guacamole was a bit plain for my taste. I couldn’t taste any of the flavors that make a guac a good guac. It was simply creamy but no flavor. Still check out their authentic and amazing tacos!
