Ordered 2 steak tacos. Tortillas were warmed up for me first then the fillings, wow a good helping of steak on each. The toppings looked fresh and everything tasted great. I totally enjoyed my order with the tastey white chip dip. Loved it a nd cost was reasonable.

THIS IS one of the Very Best places to eat!! You have a large variety of choices for food & drinks at the small bar too. For a ‘small place’ they rock-it!! It grieves me to hear or see complaints over ‘minor’ things. NO Place cooks like things “you” grew up with! I am a long haul trucker and THIS PLACE is Glorious for what they do and the people here are very friendly & helpful – get past your griping over minor things.

This Chiloso was super clean and really well kept, which immediately stood out. I ordered a chicken bowl and every single ingredient tasted fresh and high quality — from the rice to the salsa and especially the guacamole, which was some of the freshest I’ve had. The portion size was generous, and the value for what you get is genuinely great.
We dined in, and there were plenty of tables available with a relaxed, casual atmosphere that still felt nice and inviting. Service was friendly and quick without feeling rushed. It’s one of those places where you can tell they care about the freshness and presentation of what they’re serving.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. It’s a great option for a quick but high-quality meal that doesn’t feel like fast food — I’ll definitely be coming back.

For NYE, I ordered some chips, queso, guacamole, and 2 margaritas online. I hadn’t noticed that they closed early around 8 p.m nor did the order reference mention it. I made it to the location about 10 minutes after 8 PM While they were cleaning up. No one let me in as I was pulling the door, knowing that they had accepted my order that was placed well before 8 p.m. Nonetheless, I was able to get in as another person was leaving. I would’ve totally understood if they canceled my order because they had closed. So I asked and was told no, it’s ready. However, they still need to make my drinks. The bartender made my drinks, and when I got home, after having one margarita, I felt ridiculously ill. Then I thought about it; he mentioned that he gave me a little extra for being the LAST customer of the day. I don’t know if that was sarcasm or meaning he did something to my drink. Tampering with someone’s drink is illegal. I have never in my life been sick and vomiting from one frozen margarita. If they wanted to cancel my order, that is totally fine, but there’s no reason to tamper with a person’s drink. I had to lay down after vomiting, and I fell asleep well before we entered the New Year’s because I didn’t feel well. I will never go to Chiloso Royse City again. I’m so glad my son didn’t drink his margarita and ruin his NYE night as well. If all of this was done because I was late to pick you my order, they could’ve canceled it. I was NOT rude in anyway. I simply showed up asking if the order was still available. This is disgraceful and unacceptable.

I’ll admit it — I’m a Chipotle snob. I love Chipotle, so when TikTok kept hyping up Chiloso Mexican Bistro, saying it’s “like Chipotle but better,” I was skeptical but curious. I finally decided to try the Royse City, TX location for the first time, and WOW… I’ve officially been converted.
I mentioned to the associate, Lawrence, that it was my first visit, and within seconds he had me laughing with his fun, upbeat humor while giving me a quick rundown at the register. He confidently told me they’re way better than Chipotle — more authentic, fresher, they don’t even charge for guac, and chips are completely free (yes, FREE). That alone was enough to grab my attention.
But the food? Incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly blew my expectations out of the water. I can’t believe how much money I’ve been giving Chipotle all these years when this exists.
Chiloso has officially won me over, and Lawrence deserves a raise for making my first experience so memorable. If you’re even slightly considering trying it — do it. Chipotle who?

Trendy location, based on the line we thought it would be more flavorful and memorable. Breakfast tacos we ordered were just okay, more on the greasy side. The staff were nice, facilities were trendy and aesthetically on key. As a side note the jalapeño ranch was the best item I had.
