Opened in early February 2019, the Chilly Water Taproom incorporates the same love of music as the original Chilly Water Brewing Co. with it’s music-themed brews. Partnered with the authentic Philadelphia eatery Hoagies and Hops, Chilly Water brews make a welcome addition to the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood.

We stopped in before going to Tappers, sat at the bar and shared nachos. They were soooo good! The chicken was perfectly spiced and the chips seemed to be house made and thick. I had a blueberry seltzer, I think they were by untitled art, and it was refreshing.

First time when my friend delivered it to me. The cheese steak was amazing and I killed for a second one. I decided to come in on Sunday lunch and the subs just didn’t hit right. Not gonna discourage me from coming again. But the sub wasn’t as juicy, and the bread needed more love. As a ravens fan I’ll keep coming back here!

I enjoyed Chilly Water. The Sticky Fingers Breakfast stout was delicious, they have a real winner there.
But I just gotta shout out to Hoagies And Hops. My sandwich was phenomenal, my fries were crispy perfection. And the owner is just an adorable, amazing woman.

Loved this place and even brought a friend. But unfortunately inconsistency on policies, lack of signage, and lack of understanding killed the experience. Probably won’t come back. Staff were cool until they weren’t. Other patrons are rude and aggressive. Looking for better option!

Great food at the adjoining Hoagies & Hops, Philly restaurant. Beer is better than most micro brews. Open space. Good location w street parking. Everyone was nice and helpful. Been here a dozen times. Food is pricey for Philly cheese steaks, but tip notch.
