Friendly, patient and helpful staff for our first visit here. The food was tasty. Premium side of okra was huge. Regular side of fries was large. Fish platter meal sides were smallish. Great value overall though!

My family and I visited the new Dorothy Lane location tonight due to the free dinner promotion but we will definitely be back! There is a huge menu with wings, fried fish, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, and milkshakes but so many grilled fish options as well! Most counter service restaurants do not have many healthier options but having a choice of grilled salmon, tilapia, or shrimp was great! I enjoyed my grilled tilapia dinner. My family ordered fried options and enjoyed them very much as well. Dinners came with a dinner roll and two sides and there were MANY sides to choose from. The restaurant’s interior is welcoming and the employees were courteous on a very busy night. The free meals reeled us in but it was great to find a good new seafood restaurant during Lent!

I had a great experience here. The food is really good and super tasty. The manager is professional and friendly, and the staff treat customers very well. They are polite, welcoming, and attentive. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

The restaurant looked very inviting from the outside. It appeared new and seemed like it would be a great place to try. Unfortunately, the experience inside was very disappointing.
As soon as we stepped in to look at the menu, we felt rushed to place our order. While ordering, we had difficulty understanding the cashier and had to ask several times for clarification. At the same time, we could hear employees in the back complaining and arguing with one another, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.
After we sat down, we noticed the dining area was not clean. There were crumbs and food scattered across the seating and the floor. We then waited about 20 minutes for our food, even though there were only two other people in the restaurant.
When our food finally arrived, it was served in to-go containers inside a bag, even though we were dining in. We had to pull everything out ourselves just to see what we had ordered.
Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. My hamburger was undercooked, and nearly everything was extremely salty. The only item that stood out in a positive way was the coleslaw.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. For the price we paid, we could have gone right around the corner to Captain D’s and had a much better meal for half the cost. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this visit fell far below expectations. I won’t be returning, and I would encourage others to consider other options before dining here.

Wife and I decided to give them a try Sunday evening. We each had fish and chicken tenders. One dinner with cat fish & chicken tenders, greens , Mac and cheese the other dinner Cod & chicken tenders okra and french fries. 5 out 5. Taste/service/friendly. Will go back to try other items on menu.

Not bad for the price and the food is actually really good. I’m glad they finally opened up cause the food places around here are getting old. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the chicken being dipped in the spicy garlic and it was amazing . Wish I took a picture first but I was so hungry I couldn’t think of that whilst my tummy was a rumbling.

Such a beautiful place! The staff here are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful they truly make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The manager is amazing as well, very professional and attentive, and you can tell they really care about both the customers and the space. Everything is extremely clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even better. Overall a wonderful environment with great people. Highly recommend!!!!!

We were excited to try this new spot nearby, and the food absolutely delivered. We ordered the Roughy, dark meat Chicken, Grilled Shrimp, and Fried Shrimp, and everything was cooked perfectly. No sliminess, no undercooking, and the portions were generous. I was pleasantly surprised that none of the flavors blended together, especially with so many fried options on the menu. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
The only real downside right now is the online ordering system. It feels incomplete and is missing important customization options. For example, the “Make Your Own Combo” doesn’t let you choose specific types of fish (it just says “2 Fish”), and Grilled Shrimp wasn’t even selectable online. When ordering the Grilled Shrimp meal directly, there was no option to choose sides or see what was included. I ended up calling in my order because of this. Also, I ordered a 3-piece dark chicken but only received two pieces.
That said, during pickup we grabbed desserts—Sweet Potato Pie, New York-style Cheesecake, and Red Velvet Cake—and all three were fantastic. Definitely don’t skip dessert, even if you’re just coming for the fish and chicken.
Overall, despite the website issues, the food quality is top-tier for this type of restaurant. We’ll absolutely be back. If they tighten up the online ordering system, this place will be even better.
