You know it’s extremely important to follow your first mind and your gut. As soon as we walked in I could tell this probably wasn’t going to be the best experience. However, I tried to clear my mind and move forward anyway. The server Lilea walked us to our table. She barely spoke and really seemed “put out” with having to serve us. When I introduced each of us and asked for her name, she was instantly defensive and really didn’t want to provide it. Not the best start when someone is handling your food and drinks.
The menu was okay. Selections basically border around pizza, sandwiches and wings. Fair enough for a bar and grill establishment. Since we were already feeling unwelcome we decided to start with an appetizer. We ordered the Buffalo Wings. We also got Moscow Mules to drink which were nothing special.
The food took awhile to come out and when it did we looked at each other and were instantly disappointed. The wings were scary tiny. It was actually quite comical. Almost like they’d come from a malnourished, sick or baby chicken. We ordered blue cheese dressing, which we were charged extra for and it had no chunks of blue cheese in it whatsoever. The wings were not very flavorful and it was at this point we decided to move on and eat elsewhere.
I will say the restaurant was clean, they have a full bar, a pizza oven which was pretty cool and decent bathrooms. If you’re looking for value for your money, friendly environment, welcoming staff and a diverse crowd this ain’t it. Lilea really has an area of opportunity when working with the public. Perhaps a “crash course” in basic customer service skills would be appropriate and help her to elevate the experience she provides to the customer. Would I return? Absolutely not and since I wouldn’t go back – y’all know I can’t recommend this spot to you. It’s a miss and a NO for me. YW!
Got the pepperoni pizza, parm fries and prosciutto sandwich.
I booked this place through my airline rewards program and wasn’t disappointed. The cuisine mostly tends towards Italian. I came for pizza but they have plenty of other menu options including salads, burgers, soups, pasta, appetizers, sandwiches, kid’s menu and dessert. Espresso/coffee, beer, wine, and a full bar that, if not widest selection in town definitely compensates for it in stock on hand. You won’t go thirsty here! A few large TVs to watch the game. Surprisingly (and pleasingly) no gaming options here.
I had their 12″ Supreme pizza and it was delicious. They have a massive wood-fired pizza oven and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The pizza was done perfectly – the crust was crispy and crunchy and the base was adequate to the toppings. Best adjective for this pizza is fresh. Sausage is actually chopped up sausage like you’d buy from a butcher, not the typical (but certainly not bad either!) crumbled Italian sausage. Veggies were very fresh. Emphasis on taste rather than on overwhelming you with a ton of toppings. This makes it more enjoyable and less expensive.
If you find yourself in Northwest Vegas this isn’t a bad spot to consider, with the warning that it apparently can get very busy. They take reservations if you’re unsure or a large party.
We started with the cheese bread! This is a must their garlic marinara is very good.
Calamari had perfect texture.
Cheese fries were a little strong for my taste but if you’re a cheese lover they are loaded with flavor.
Main course: Blackened chicken salad was colorful and loved that they put the dressing on the side.
Cheeseburger was delicious
This is a place we will add to our date night routine!
