Everything was amazing. So much food!! I enjoy the varieties of different items there. Their alcohol drinks look so amazing that as a non drinker, would try one. Back to the food and service. Never had a single complaint any time I have been there.

Went to dinner last night, and our waiter (didn’t catch his name sadly) was wonderful. He was so friendly, happy, and great service. The food was delicious and hot, he even sent our soda home with us ❤️ the servings are a good size, not too big. The salsa isn’t too spicy, and the queso is the best around.

I ordered the Carne Asada platter with refried beans and rice, plus flour tortillas, hot sauce, chips, and finished with flan, and the whole experience was a perfect combination of flavor, comfort, and value.
The carne asada was the star. The steak had a bold, grilled flavor with that slight char on the outside that tells you it was cooked right. It was tender, full of seasoning, and tasted fresh, not dry or bland. Every bite had that savory, smoky taste that makes carne asada so satisfying. The portion size was generous. This was not a small plate. It was the kind of serving that leaves you full and still thinking, “They really took care of me here.”

So this is the first time I’ve had great Mexican food anywhere north of Kansas City. The food is great and the presentation is outstanding! I didn’t get to snap pictures of the menu, but the prices are higher than I thought they were online. Plan to spend $20 on any entree. For my husband and I, we ordered two entrees, one drink, one fried ice cream and a soft drink and side and the bill came to $72, so closer to 90 after tip. I asked our server about the drink prices and she said some of them are $20-30 each. I choose one of the smaller ones, which ended up being $14, and it’s hitting like two drinks would at any other place, so it’s worth the money. Great presentation on the drinks, too- really cool! Worth the money, overall- just not the menu prices that are shown in reviews from about seven months ago.

We were pleasantly surprised!
The food was very good and a good amount for the price as well.
Our server was on top of it from the git-go as well.

I used to come here every Wednesday with friends for their $1 tacos day. I’ve since moved and came back yesterday 12/17/2025 to meet a friend for lunch. Being Wednesday, we thought it would be fun to visit here again. I drove 2 1/2 hours to meet him. When we were asked what we would like he told the waiter he wanted the $1 tacos in shredded beef, the waiter said they came in ground beef, so he said that’s fine. I let the waiter know I wanted the $1 tacos too and I’ll get 4 softshell chicken. (Which I’ve always gotten for years) I did ask if I could get 2 tacos with double the ingredients and pay for 4 of them. He said sure. We got our food, my tacos had double soft shells, not a big deal. The bill came and my tacos were $18. This seemed odd. 4 tacos at $1/per doesn’t add up to $18. So I asked and he said the $1 tacos were only ground beef. He never mentioned that. He came to the table with a card reader and was a little pushy with it asking if it would be cash or card. (He asked a couple of times seemingly to get us out the door, they weren’t very busy) He appeared to be having a bad day. I paid my bill and tipped.
I would make sure everyone understands what the specials are. The misunderstanding was quite expensive for 2 tacos.

We have eaten at Chilio’s many times and the food is always great! The staff are friendly, service is quick, and there is never ending chips & salsa. Most times, it is busy, no matter the time of day. There is an outside patio during the warmer months, if that is something you enjoy. Daily specials.

We had an amazing meal at Chilitos! My daughters had the street tacos- beef and pork. So flavorful. Everything was perfectly done . The sauce that comes with it was simply delicious. I had veggie fajitas with chicken added–building my own low carb meal. So delicious!
