WARNING! AVOID SHAWN!!!! OR PLACING LARGE ORDERS FOR TAKE OUT – UNLESS YOU ARE READY FOR THE HEADACHE THAT COMES WITH IT!!!!!! ❌❌❌❌❌ They had our order the whole time — and still made us feel like we were crazy. Shawn needs to be reevaluated… and Coby….we expected better!!!!
We placed a $124.99 takeout order from the Rancho Cucamonga Chili’s for two PP_TRIPLEs. It was for our grandpa’s 93rd birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by Shawn, who was running their to-go station. We gave him several names, offered the phone number, even showed the text confirmation. He did a quick check, said he didn’t see it, and told us it was probably just a mix-up — that it’s common for people to show up at the wrong Chili’s.
He double-checked with a coworker who looked at some printed receipts in passing, and they both basically concluded: “We don’t have it.” But instead of digging deeper or offering help, that was the end of it. So we called around. My sister and I spent the next 10 minutes on hold with other locations while trying to talk to our dad (who placed the order) and keep communication going with staff. It was frustrating and disorienting.
Eventually, Coby the manager stepped in. He made a stronger effort — helped call other stores, asked questions. After all that, we found out the order was there the entire time. It had been entered in their system as a future order, which meant it didn’t show up in the standard section. Shawn never checked that tab. When I pointed that out to Coby — respectfully — and asked whether it made sense for staff to check both places when someone’s missing an order, his response wasn’t acknowledgment or apology. Instead, he told us Shawn was new, didn’t know how to look in that area, and even showed us the computer screen.
But that wasn’t the point. We weren’t looking for a lesson on their POS system. We were looking for someone to take ownership. A simple “You’re right. I’m sorry. That makes sense and I’ll make sure he knows for next time” would’ve gone a long way. Instead, it felt like we were being educated rather than cared for. And all the while, we were calm, patient, and respectful — even though this was a time-sensitive family meal and emotions were high. My dad was upset. The whole thing left us feeling ignored and blamed.
The worst part? At one point, I walked up to ask Shawn for an update. He rolled his eyes at me, walked away, and kept giving us nasty looks from behind the counter. No apology. No engagement. Thankfully, he never handled our order again. But that attitude — on top of everything else — made the experience feel unreal. Legit TERRIBLE!!! As though he wanted to fight us!!!!
Coby was at least involved and made an effort, but even then, there was no real accountability or sincerity. His apology felt like something he said because it was expected — not because he meant it.
The food? It was fine. But I wouldn’t return to a place where basic follow-through and care were this far off the mark. For a major chain, this was amateur hour.

First time going to Chili’s and it was good. The prices are still reasonable but I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the smokehouse combo. I got the ribs which were good but not too meaty and the tenders didn’t really qualified as smokehouse… besides the ribs and the sausage the other options are not really considered bbq. The tenders were a lil salty and at times too bready. But overall worth the $24 bucks. The corn and fries were included and were good. The server was nice and kept the refills coming although the soda was pretty water down. Still a good place to eat.

I can only speak for my experience with our server and where we sit. But, Jen at the bar seating here is probably one of the best things about this chilis. She is always in a great mood, always making sure we are beyond taken care, and just overall vibes are always great with her. 10/10 would recommend sitting at the bar just to get her as a server!

Koby the manager was helpful in clearing up an issue. Eric had good service and timing with checking in without being overbearing. It was a busy Friday night so the food wasn’t as good as usual. The Nashville Moz sticks were a little cold in the middle, nothing was as hot as it should have been. Our wings were kind of overcooked and dry. Again, it was busy so I get it. The food was ok though, just not as good as usual. Service made up for it though.

Came here for my birthday dinner last night. The server, Jennifer, was great at first. Very attentive and fast. 1 dish we ordered came out raw. We got a replacement. We paid, but didn’t leave a tip through the tablet pay. I’m thinking the server didn’t like that because after we paid, she was nowhere to be found. We needed refills and to go boxes. What she didn’t know was that we were tipping 15% in cash. Not the best Chili’s around.

Service was incredible and the food came out fast. My fajitas were great. But my son didn’t care for the mac and cheese or mushroom sides with his steak. Which was good. Don’t put to much into that, he’s a picky eater.

Service was excellent. Our waiter was on it lol. Got our food fast . Drinks fast. And he came to our table a couple of time to make sure we had everything we needed. We were on a time crunch ( hat to go back to work) lol and we left on time.
Got there at noon and left right before 1:30pm. Ordered 4 meals and 2 desserts and drinks…

Came here for my birthday today! Tiffany was wonderful and our food was yummy as always! However, there was an employee with a pink bow in her hair today who helped our server with the beverages and she was rude & overall looked like she hated being there. “You ask your server for food, not me” was uncalled for. We just asked if we could get a starter in and that’s fine if she couldn’t do it herself but she could have told us “sure! I’ll let your server know. I can help if you need any beverages” or anything else besides how she did it. Besides her, everything else was great!

Server Justin was the perfect waiter. Just the right amount of attention and attention to detail. Food was executed perfectly and quickly. Delicious and a value, we all had leftovers to take home for later.
