My family and I visited chilis in Dekalb today and Sabrina was our server.
The two star review was specifically for the kitchen staff to get their credit. They made great food and would come back here again provided Sabrina is not my server.
Sabrina from the get go was rushing us to order drinks and food. We had just sat down and my mom and her friend do not go out often so they wanted to look at the menu a bit. Within a 3 minute time span, she got a drink order out of us and then was pushing for a food order. I, admittedly, know what I wanted because I’m a creature of habit. My mom and her friend are not and I am wondering if this behavior would have gone excused had I not been here.
Before we even had taken a bite she had asked how our food was. It was just sat in front of us.
She did bring an extra dip for the chips, but ultimately, we were before the dinner rush on a Monday if there even is one.
She also was trying to get us to pay our bill before we finished our meal.
She questioned whether or not we had enough in a gift card credit card, which is fair because we assumed we had enough, which we did not. Embarrassingly, she spoke louder than we had hoped when asking about the remainder of our bill that my mom’s friend paid the remainder and continued to say that “she will also cover your bill?” While others were around. Not only was that rude and inconsiderate, but bad customer service.
We were finishing our conversation and my mom wanted one more drink, of a coke, which is free refills, and she, yet again, tried to push us out by asking if we wanted it to go. Of a restaurant that was maybe a third full.
I’ve worked in food service.
I understand turning tables is a necessity to continue making your money.
But respect is required in an economy that sadly expects tips.
I wouldn’t have left the tip my mom’s friend left her.
The hard part is that I will reluctantly be back because of the lack of food options in Dekalb.
If Sabrina is your server, politely request a different one.

Chili’s “Three for Me” Deal – Our Go-To Weekend Spot!
We recently visited Chili’s and tried their Three for Me deal, which includes an appetizer, a main course, and a drink for just $10.99—an unbeatable price for the quality of food and service we received!
For our meal, we ordered the Smash Burger, and it did not disappoint. The patty was juicy and flavorful, and what really took it over the top was the Thousand Island dressing—it was absolutely delicious, adding the perfect tangy, creamy balance to the burger.
For the appetizer, we went with the Chicken Enchilada Soup, and wow—this soup is to die for! It had a nice, warm, mild spice to it, packed with rich, deep flavors that made every bite comforting and satisfying. It’s one of those soups you’d crave even when you’re not at the restaurant.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Chili’s was fantastic. The place had a lively yet cozy feel, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Our server was super friendly, as was the host, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. What stood out even more was that the owner personally came by to check on us, which really showed that they care about their customers’ experience.
Overall, we had an amazing time, and Chili’s has officially become our go-to spot for a weekend meal. The Three for Me deal offers great value, and the combination of great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a place we will definitely keep coming back to! Highly recommend!

Our Server, Sabrina, was EXCELLENT! We had a large party, every order was right, drink refills were made without asking, she was efficient, kind and cheerful! I didn’t realize it at the time but we stayed beyond closing time and she was gracious and told us to take our time. She is one in a million! Thanks Sabrina – 5 Stars all the way!

Tonight we had dinner at Chili’s, a family of five (two adults and three kids). Even though the parking lot was packed and we had to park next door, the wait was only about 15 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. We were seated in the bar area, and our server, Porsha, greeted us with such a positive attitude despite how busy it was.
From the start, she was friendly, organized, and on top of everything. Our food came out perfectly spaced and timed, especially considering the busyness. Porsha checked in on us regularly, kept our drinks filled, and went out of her way to make our kids feel special; my 6-year-old absolutely lit up when she got fun little “Wicked” drink decorations.
What really stood out was how genuine and attentive Porsha was, not just with us but with everyone around her. She handled a full section with ease, professionalism, and a great attitude. Her kindness and care truly made the night memorable.
As someone who comes from a family of restaurant owners, I really appreciate seeing that kind of dedication and heart in service. Porsha is the kind of person any restaurant would be lucky to have. I could only be lucky enough to have her again!

We went to Chilis for dinner last night we really enjoyed our service with Sabrina. My wife wasn’t sure what margarita to get and Sabrina helped her choose the blackberry presidente margarita which my wife loved! We came out to watch the Bears game and the atmosphere was fun with other customers enjoying themselves for the game. We stayed for quite a while and Sabrina came by and checked on us and was sweet and funny making us laugh too. We both got honey Chipotle chicken crispers because Sabrina had said they were her favorite and they were tasty! We will be back soon to see her again!!

It has been a while since we visited Chili’s, but we decided tonight would be a good time to go for a burger. My wife and I both ordered burgers they both came out looking very good. Unfortunately, mine was not cooked as I had requested, but our fantastic server took action And made it right. The burgers and the fries are really very good. They have a good team in place there again our server was outstanding very upbeat and efficient. This is a place you can tell is very well managed. We certainly are not going to wait as long as we did between visits

We had multiple dishes in our dinner that wasn’t cooked right there was pasta: that was cold mashed potatoes: had old stale taste, our chips and salsa : salsa itself had old corn chips already in it as if it was somebody else’s salsa off their table that they served us. We had steak: that was cooked. Well done burned on the outside and still pink on the inside and when the remake came, it was burned on the outside to the point of being burnt, and finally the steak was barely cooked on the inside, which means the stove was up too high. Management tried to compensate on some of the things that we experienced, but the cook and the servers wasn’t very mindful of what they were cooking and serving. Needless to say my family and I probably won’t come back to this particular Chili’s again sadly to say there’s only one in Dekalb

The food and drinks are always amazing and come out to the table quickly. The servers are generous and there is usually never a wait to get seated. I always recommend ordering the triple dipper!! I also enjoyed their loaded fries appetizer as well.

The food was really good and given to us super fast. However both times I’ve been there and need something from our waitress they sit in the corner and socialize instead of asking if we need anything like more water. We were not checked in on the whole time after given our food and even up til we paid. I enjoyed the food.
