Look at all that bacon on my Bacon Rancher Burger! This is not some fake food posing for a professional photo, it’s a real burger that was every bit as delicious as it looks. Nobody has better chips – so thin and crispy (when they’re cooked right). Southwestern Eggrolls are reliably delicious. Throw a dart at a Chili’s menu, and you’ll hit something I like. They have long been my favorite restaurant chain, and this location sure didn’t disappoint. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

My husband and I both had the Qp burger special with grilled onions. He had the potato soup and I had a side salad. Everything was delicious. The salad was crisp, the soup was “loaded” and the burgers were perfectly cooked. I also must mention the fries. I usually leave half of my fries on my plate, but today I ate almost every one. They were great; crispy, yet still fluffy inside. Aside from very tasty food, we had great service and the casual atmosphere was welcoming. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the numerous tvs at the bar, yet diners aren’t disturbed by them. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back.

Chili’s is turning into our GO TO restaurant for a quick bite.
Used to be Applebee’s, but Chili’s has a deal, for about 10 bucks you get a pretty good meal. Restaurant was clean, service was good.

Amber was absolutely amazing. From the second we sat down, she brought this energy that just made the whole experience better. She was attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake, and genuinely made us feel welcome. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.
She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and checked in at the perfect times. Drinks were always refilled, food came out smoothly, and everything felt effortless because she was on top of it. Even when it got busy, she stayed calm, smiling, and professional.
It’s rare to have a server who actually elevates the whole meal, but Amber did exactly that. If you’re at Chili’s and she’s your waiter, you’re in great hands. 10/10 experience — she’s a rockstar.

I just have to say this because wow. Amber at Chili’s is actually built different.
From the second we sat down she was on it. Super welcoming, crazy attentive, but not in that fake overly scripted way. She made it feel relaxed and fun, like we were regulars even though we weren’t. Drinks never got low. Food came out perfect. She checked in at the right times without hovering. It’s really not that hard but somehow rare these days and she nailed it.
What really stood out was her energy. Positive, quick, sharp, and just genuinely kind. You can tell she cares about doing a good job instead of just clocking in and surviving the shift. She made the whole experience better, not just the food.
If you go to Chili’s, ask for Amber. She’s the reason we’ll be back.

Natalie is the best server we’ve had at a chilis. She rocked our large table and many others around us. Great humor and proactive to all our needs. Super speedy. Food was tasty and a great value. Very clean location.

Chili’s is my nephew’s favorite restaurant, so we took him there to celebrate his 8th birthday recently. Our server, Natalie H, was super friendly and efficient. I overheard the host say she had just been triple sat so it might be a bit of a wait, but it wasn’t. We got our drinks and food all in good time and good spirits. Our food was delicious, too! Thanks to Natalie, our nephew had a great bday celebration with his fave aunt and uncle, at his all time favorite restaurant

My husband and I chose this Chili’s location based on its positive online reviews, since we’re not from the area and were excited for a good meal and drinks. Instead, we had one of the most shocking, disrespectful, and unprofessional experiences we’ve ever had—thanks to the bartender/manager named Amber.
She didn’t even bother to ID the young woman seated directly across from us at the bar. The girl looked very, very young, but none the less, no ID was asked for, and Amber proceeded to chat and laugh with her like they were best friends the whole time, serving drinks without a care. As someone who is a bartender myself, I calmly pointed out that she hadn’t ID’d her, and that’s when Amber immediately got rude and hostile.
She turned extremely defensive, acted like I was yelling or being aggressive (I wasn’t at all), started swearing at me, and then ignored us completely—no service, no acknowledgment, nothing. I asked to speak to a manager, and after being ignored at first, she rudely told me, “I am the manager and you had to deal with it.” No real escalation, no accountability—just more hostility from someone supposedly in charge. To have a supposed manager act like that is absolutely insane.
Worse still, I overheard her coaching the young woman to write a glowing online review about her “great service” and to get her friends to post the same—even though those friends never stepped foot in the place. That’s dishonest review gaming and unfair to every other hardworking server and staff member.
We left without getting a single drink or meal. My husband and I will never return to this location, to any Chili’s, or even to Traverse City if this is the standard. We’re escalating this to corporate because oversight like this is unacceptable—owners and corporate need to get their managers under control, enforce ID checks, proper service standards, real complaint handling, and basic professionalism.
Avoid the bar here at all costs. Terrible experience from start to finish.

I had a lovely time at Chili’s yesterday-our server was Amber and she did a great job! She served our group of 5 very well and anticipated our needs flawlessly (especially the to-go cups for our extra drinks we didn’t finish). Man, if I could give our waitress from tonight a million dollar tip and employee of the month I would. She was aaabbsolutely fabulous for my grandsons first birthday! He loved her, we loved her. She was the best. Phenomenal service, she didnt miss a beat or skip a thing. I would come back just for her.
