Being in a time crunch After leaving another restaurant with no service we went to Chiles in tupelo last night. Through teamwork we was in and out in 30 minutes. Great service great food and we are going back tonight so we can enjoy it without being in a rush. Awesome teamwork!!!

Table was sticky, food was gross, service was questionable. I could have eaten better food by picking something out of the freezer section at the grocery store. As others have said, the food looks nice on the plate and that’s the only nice thing about it.

Our food was nicely plated, but that’s where the compliments end on the food. We’ve eaten at Chili’s restaurants in multiple cities, but we’ve never had food that was quite so underwhelming. I ordered a 3 for $10 special with a house salad, half chicken bacon avocado sandwich and unsweetened tea. The cucumber in the salad was frozen solid, and the diced tomatoes on top were wet and had definitely been sitting for a long time. The sandwich had a teeny bun with a gargantuan piece of tasteless chicken that had a very strange (maybe boiled?) consistency. But the worst offender was the “avocado.” It was so under-ripe that I couldn’t cut through it with the serrated knife and my fork. My lunch partner got the boneless Santa Fe wings and said they weren’t spicy and tasted like they had been cooked and then thrown back in the fryer again to heat them up. Very greasy and without much taste. Even the sliders got a thumbs down from my not-at-all-picky daughter. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but that $50 meal was not worth the money, unfortunately. Our waitress was spread thin, but she was accurate with our order.

Fried mozzarella came out fast and hot… delicious.!!
Down fall was waiting over an hour for our food! And when we finally get said food my husband asked for a medium rare steak and got a well done over cooked tough dry steak

The food took an hour to come out and the server/bartender was sucked. She was attentive to everyone except my husband and me. She literally took my empty cup and didn’t ask if I wanted another drink while we were still waiting for food but kept the guy next to us glass full the whole time. We waited 15 minutes while she was hanging out with her friends to get our check. We walked into Chili’s at 7 to grab a quick bite and didn’t leave until 9 because the service was so bad.

Our food was good, try the honey chipotle mozzarella. That alone was worth going. The music was a little too loud but we were in the bar area so whatever.
But. Let me tell you. John Michael was our server and he was TOP TIER!
He never let us run out of drinks, he kept our table cleared off and was all around the BEST! We were a party of 6 so that’s excellent IMO.
We went tonight for my birthday and honestly it wasn’t that big of a deal to me. I had my family with me and that’s all I needed. But John Michael made it a big deal. What a sweetheart he is! He brought the serving staff out to sing to me when I said I really don’t need all of that, and brought the birthday ice cream too. So sweet! He made the night by making it so special for me.
I will be back to this Chili’s location in Tupelo and asked to be seated in his section. Hopefully he will be there

My family and I went to Chili’s last night because my daughter wanted to go for her birthday. We got seated fast because it was a handful of people there. The server was sweet. Food came out the waitress dropped one dish, then sat our food on another table and went to the back to place another order for the plate she dropped. Five minutes later she came back and served the rest of the table. Food was not cold, but not hot either. Had enough heat for a baby to eat without someone having to blow it. My Cajun pasta had a teaspoon of Alfredo the rest just boiled noodles with no flavor. Took my husband 15 minutes to get sauce for his steak. The waitress never came back for refills and everyone drink was empty. Then time to pay, some how we ended up paying for the next table food. We got that table waitress to come because our waitress still havent showed up. That waitress apologized and go to back to tell our waitress and manager about the situation. That waitress came back and let us know she told our waitress and manager and they should be out. Twenty minutes later, our waitress come out and I stopped her to ask what is going on with our ticket and she was like it’s been taking care didn’t nobody tell you. So I tell her get the manager over here, and she come with no care in the world and told said yea we took care of it and that the difference would be applied within 7 business days.
