Chili’s truly delivers when it comes to bold, flavorful comfort food that hits the spot every time. During my recent visit, I was blown away by how consistently delicious everything was, starting with the Nashville Hot Chicken-Style Mozzarella Sticks. These aren’t your typical mozzarella sticks—Chili’s puts a fiery spin on them with a Nashville hot-style breading that’s crispy, spicy, and perfectly balanced with gooey, melted cheese inside. Dipped in cool ranch, they were hands-down the standout of the menu and something I’d go back for again and again. They showcase the creativity Chili’s brings to its appetizers, elevating a classic with a Southern kick.
For the main course, I went with Alex’s Santa Fe Burger, and it was packed with flavor in every bite. The juicy beef patty was topped with creamy guacamole, spicy jalapeños, fresh lettuce, pepper jack cheese, and Santa Fe sauce, all coming together in a perfectly layered flavor profile. The seasoned fries on the side were golden, crispy, and well-spiced—simple but done right. I also ordered a Frozen Sangria ‘Rita, which was fruity, refreshing, and tangy with a nice margarita twist, though I do wish the portion had been a little larger. Overall, the entire meal was a 5/5 experience—delicious, satisfying, and well worth the visit.
P.S. I would definitely recommend asking for the server, Devon. He provided amazing customer service, was incredibly attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. His positive energy and attention to detail elevated our dining experience. I’ll be requesting him almost every time I come back—truly outstanding service!

We go there for lunch occasionally taking advantage of their “Three for Me” lunch menu. Service has been fast and friendly. Food is good. I would recommend it when you want something more than fast food. Cost for us had been about 20 bucks per person including tax and tip.

We wouldn’t know about the quality of the food as we were never served. Waited over 30 minutes for Chips and cheese only to see others seated after us receiving their order almost immediately. We never did get our food and after approx. 30 minutes…waitress said she’d check on it and never came back. We left. I’d love someone to contact me about this as I USED to love Chili’s. No excuse for this.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Chili’s on Clinton Highway in Knoxville was a huge disappointment tonight—after waiting nearly 50 minutes for my food, it still hadn’t arrived, and there was little communication or urgency from the staff about what was going on. While they eventually comped the meal, which I appreciate, that doesn’t make up for the excessive wait and overall lack of customer service during the experience. Comping the food was the right call, but no one should have to wait that long with no updates, and it’s not a place I’d rush back to anytime soon.

Although I live five minutes from this particular Chilis, I will drive to the one on Kingston Pike from now on. The quesadillas were absolutely horrible. They taste nothing like the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas at the other store. They were very dry. They are always dry with very little cheese or anything other than just chicken and the chicken is overly spiced. They rarely ever get a to go order right. I called and was on hold for over 17 minutes just so I could ask for some extra pico. No one ever answered. My husband got there to pick up the order. He asked. They said it was in the bag but it wasn’t. What was in the bag was the beans that I paid $3.50. I tipped 20% when I paid online. What is the point of tipping for this crappy of service?
I called the West Knoxville store just to see if they would answer. I thought maybe it was a company policy to not answer phone calls. They answered in about 30 seconds. I understand that the Clinton Highway store was a little, busy. But there’s no way on God’s green earth that the Kingston Pike store wasn’t also busy. I used to love Chilis and we ate there a lot. This is not a one time thing. I don’t know why I keep falling for it. I kind of assume things will have to get better because I don’t see how they stay in business with this low quality of food compared to other Chilis restaurants. I’ll drive the 20 minutes to go to Kingston Pike from now on.
Also, what if my elderly parents wanted to order food to go. They would not be able to since this store cannot manage to answer the phone. There was literally nothing redeeming about my experience. if you are from out of town and getting off the interstate and thinking of stopping here, don’t. Find somewhere else to go. Look up Cheddars down the road and go there. Go to McAllisters. Heck, go to Taco Bell. It will be better.

Attempted to have my birthday dinner (fri Jan 23rd) at this location… it was busy, so I left my name with a blonde hostess who was training another woman, I was told a few minutes… people kept coming in and sat/stood around us, all the while the hostess was concerned about seating a large fishing party…20 min later my girlfriend and I noticed many tables were open but weren’t getting sat? We even were talking with a group who came in after us about the wait and the open tables… we then noticed groups who came after us w/ larger parties sat before us, then even the people who we were talking to, were seated before us! I then went and asked the hostess why we were being skipped and she said we still had to wait…I then asked about all the open tables and why we were being skipped, she gave me the worst look and said we needed to sit back down and wait!? W/ that response, at this point I left w/ my gf to another restaurant after waisting 30 min… I told them to have a nice night and again got the worst looks from her… I’ve never been so angry, and on my bday! I’ve managed retail and restaurants for 25 yrs, and have never been so upset/disappointed in an individual and business w/ this level of customer care!

Our server Devon and the team were very attentive and on top of things. Love there 3 for me deal with people struggling but still want a nice date night option. We had one semi problem with my steak but he kept me informed and I never ran out of drinks. Can’t wait to come back soon.
