Our server was Anna and she was just awesome. When I told her we have never been here before she literally took her time with us and went over the menu told us what we’re favorites and she was just amazing. Thanks Anna we will be returning and I really hope this doesn’t end up being a one hit wonder.
My wife and I dined at the Plant City, Florida location on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
Bri was our server and she provided good service. The meal, however, was very disappointing as described below.
We both ordered a 6-ounce sirloin steak to be cooked medium well. For our sides we each chose the loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. We each also added the 6-piece grilled shrimp. Additionally, we ordered the brisket quesadillas to share. We each had a soda as well.
When we received our food, the steaks came out medium rare (red throughout with some blood on the plates) instead of medium well. We sent them back to be cooked more. They came back more like medium but acceptable. Unfortunately, about 1/3 of the steaks were fat/gristle, so only about 4 ounces of lean meat on each steak.
As for the grilled shrimp, the shrimp were VERY small, more like the type of shrimp that you would use for baking in a casserole. I would estimate that each order was about ¼ cup of shrimp. It basically amounted to only a few bites.
As for the steamed broccoli, they had so much salt and pepper on them that my wife could not even eat them!
On a positive note, the loaded mashed potatoes were excellent.
The brisket quesadillas were great, but somewhat overpriced at $16.49.
For a bill of over $72 (before tip) we should have received decent quality steaks and more than a few bites of shrimp.
My wife and I are not complainers, and we post far more positive reviews than negative ones. This experience was an obvious exception.
We will NOT come back or recommend Chili’s to our family & friends!
The food itself is good. I’d recommend getting the Fajitas due to all the combinations you can get with them. Everything else is just as good, but not as special as the fajitas. Overall, not special, but not terrible either.
However, God never changes same yesterday an forever..
