After literally DECADES of eating at Chili’s, I can safely say I’ve found the absolute worst of the worst.
There were three employees behind the bar spending more time talking to each other than taking care of customers.
Took several minutes to even be acknowledged, more time to order drinks, more time to have to ask for menus.
These people- one guy in particular on the 11:00 am shift – is clearly poorly trained and has no clue that many people are trying to get something to eat and make it to the gate on time.
I had to flag down the server to tell him we needed to order so we could get going. By this time we had wasted almost 20 minutes and just now ordering.
One woman appeared to be a manager also huddled with the two others while ignoring customers.
The one male server went to the end of the bar and stayed there several minutes fumbling with the register/terminal and casually chatting with a customer as several other patrons looked on needing things.
Our food was horrible. Not hot and fresh, the chicken tenders were dry and cold, and almost everything was horribly salty. Much of the food was essentially inedible.
But… to have something on our flight, we did manage to flag down another inattentive employee to get us a container and take our payment.
We just made it to our gate before boarding and this entire process ate up almost a full hour and $50 for a soda and 2 appetizers that weren’t worth eating.
This is how poorly trained employees get 5% tips – just a courtesy and pity tip, which was way more than this team deserved.
Horrible and stressful experience overall due to poor hiring and training procedures.

Arrived asked bartender Mindy for beer n mixed drink…. Waited 10 mins she disappeared. Finally asked other bartender, so sweet she fixed drink and gave beer. Finally had to ask Mindy if we could order finally!!!! Ordered the boneless chicken nuggets lol not wings. They were so salty we could hardly eat. Told her she stayed if was chili’s sauce. Gave us a honey mustard. Then went across bar complained to customers about me observing her. They looked at me smiling n shrugged their shoulders. I’m a bartender on the Gulf Coast maybe some need customer service refreshing.

Why if you have flights leaving at 8:45 in the airport would you close at 7PM? We had so many of us flying out on the last flight that were hungry since we had to get to the right at dinner time! And when we got through check in and through TSA you were already already closed along with every other thing in the airport! How about you stay open at least until 8:00 so that those of us who have to check in at 6:30 can then come eat and have a drink! That was very disappointing. !

We had a shockingly delicious chicken sandwich with fries before a flight out. Honestly, was one of the tastiest fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Friendly service as well! Great spot to relax if you’re waiting for a flight.

Food was surprisingly good. Haven’t eaten at a chilis in decades. Was looking to kill time while waiting for a flight. Keral Ann was a saint while dealing with an out of line customer. Service was good. Estevan was our server.

Jana Blagg was our waitress. We were a group of 6 scouts wanting to pay individually whilst having a 2 hour layover. We all ordered chicken strips and one ordered a burger. She forced a tip upon us and when we said no, she asked us if we knew what a tip was. Obviously we did, and since she begged us rudely for a tip, we still refused. Food was great but lost our business from the rest of our troop just because of this.
