We go to this Chilis at least a couple of times a month. Usually everything is great. Tonight my wife’s burger was very undercooked, we sent it back and it took a while for her to get one back. She ordered a drink and it was a good 3/4 inch from the top of the glass. It was a $12 drink and I would think that it would be a full drink. We feel that tonight that we did not get our moneys worth. We ordered dip, an entree, 2 beers and 2 drinks and our bill was $78. The food was great and the service was ok, but it just seemed a little overpriced for what we got. Pics are of the burger and the two drinks the wife had.

The Chili’s in Athens absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The host greeted me right away, and the waitstaff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the entire visit. They checked in often without being overbearing, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect.
The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The appetizers came out quickly, and the entrées followed at just the right time. Everything tasted consistent and high-quality, from the classic fajitas and burgers to the crisp fries and signature drinks. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, even during the busy rush. Tables were cleared quickly, and the whole place had a relaxed but upbeat vibe that made the visit even better.
Overall, this location stands out because of the great customer service, comfortable atmosphere, and reliably good food. Whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner, celebrating something, or just craving Chili’s, the Athens location is definitely worth the stop. I’ll 100% be returning!

The service, and the food is hit or miss. Honestly I wish it was more consistent. However this time our server was really kind, and even helped us sing happy birthday to my coworker. He was very attentive and friendly. Loved the burger, fries, and strawberry lemonade.

Regrettable. Worst table i think ive seen in a while. In the middle of the bar area with my back to booths close behind us under a cold air vent. The service was fine. We waited a little on refills here and there. Our appetizers were fresh from the deep fryer so they were ok. We had a surf and turf ribeye that was grey with silverskin and overcooked. Clearly a frozen steak. The shrimp was small and not fresh. This frozen dish was just over 30$. Shrimp fajitas were small, not fresh, with overcooked, limp peppers and onions. Rice and beans were old. Pico de Gallo was not fresh, bland, and watery. The Santa Fe salad was the only food we received that had any fresh elements and was therefore adequate. The chocolate lava cake was admittedly a fun and tasty dessert. It’s a shame, as just a few years ago, this restaurant had some pretty tasty shrimp tacos and other items. The quality has taken quite the nosedive from what I remember.

Always love going to Chili’s for their margarita of the month!!! Also the triple dipper is a classic and way more than enough for 2 meals!! I always get the egg rolls, chicken crispers but can change things up if I ever get tired of things.
They also have specials where for ~$10.99 you can get chips & salsa, a burger + slides and add the margarita for $6!! A steal for sure with the amount of food we got.

My daughter was ordering off the kids’ menu and asked for a lemonade. The server asked her if she wanted it in the small cup or if she’d prefer a bigger cup, and my daughter, wanting to feel older and cool, said shyly with a smile, “a bigger cup is fine.” When we went to pay the bill, the server had charged us $3.19 for an adult lemonade, and when I showed her the kids’ menu clearly says the entree includes a side and a drink, the server stood arguing that she put the kids’ drink in a bigger cup. I tried to reason with her that (1) we never agreed to pay more, (2) the kids’ drink comes with free refills so size of cup doesn’t even matter, and (3) that when my daughter ordered the chicken tenders, the server asked if fries were OK as a side, but she never asked what kids’ drink she wanted, all proved that the server knew we ordered a kids’ drink. Nothing worked until I finally said I would just take the drink charge out of the tip. Only then did she finally agree to ask a manager to clear the charge. Afterwards, in the car, my daughter was mortified, saying “Dad, I never would have said ‘big cup’ if I knew she would try to charge you extra for it!” I just told her, “I know, no reasonable person ever would have thought she’d try to charge us.”
I’m not sure if it was just the server trying to scam us for a bigger bill and therefore tip, or if it’s actually the restaurant ownership/management encouraging it, since they also make a higher profit margin with the scam, and since the server seemed so comfortable with arguing for her original extra charge. Either way, I now think of Chili’s as a scam restaurant, and I won’t be back. Judging by response rate on other Google reviews, the owner will reply to this post, so others will be able to tell how the owners truly feel about the scam.

Be careful if you order delivery from here. We have ordered twice this month and never will again. They obviously could care less about the delivery orders. It’s like the workers are trying to duscourage you from ordering delivery. I am refusing to pay for this last order it was so bad.

Brynn is hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She went above and beyond for us the entire time. She was super friendly, attentive, and had a smile on her face even while dealing with some seriously disrespectful tables around her. You could tell she genuinely cared about giving great service no matter what. Chili’s is lucky to have her. She’s easily the definition of professionalism and positivity.

When I order the triple dipper to go, I’m really hoping that all three items will taste the same. They made that happen! Seriously? Is this how corporate thinks things should be served to-go or is this just a one off? Either way it’s terrible. It’s nowhere near what I expect in store so why should I accept it to be so bad to-go? Get it together Chilis!!!!!!

The food might have been good had it not have been for the AC that was blowing on our table inside the bar area. Within 5 minutes, appetizer was cold, along with my frozen face and hands. Ordered two dinners of the ribeye(10oz) and shrimp with our sides. One steak cooked great other steak was raw and stringy ( inconsistent)
Sweet tea was horrible (sugar water) asked the waitress to exchange for half and half, somewhat better. Had to get a different waitress to bring to go boxes, to bring cold food home so maybe it will taste better heated up.
Had a hard time getting waitress to the table to pay the bill , with cash, and that totally blew their minds
80+ dollars for food that was cold, no refills, and no one checking on us at our table. Will be a while if at all before I go back~
