I was completely impressed.
First of all, my food was still hot when it arrived!
The way the food was packaged and properly sealed kept everything in its place, hot, organized, and delicious.
Major Kudos to the to-go staff at the restaurant.
I had the Southwestern Egg Rolls as an appetizer and they were fantastic. Lots of flavor and totally delicious. I really enjoyed the ranch style dipping sauce as well.
I had the Ribeye Surf and Turf and it was a total winner. The shrimp were a bit small, but they were nice and tender and they had a wonderful flavor from the grill. My steak was a good size and it was very flavorful. It was a tad bit more cooked than is my absolute preference – but it was sitting in an insulated container on its way from the restaurant to my place, so that’s pretty much to be expected. The broccoli was nice and fresh and not mushy at all. I really enjoyed the loaded mashed potatoes and I was pleasantly surprised that they gave me a container of melted butter to go with it all.
Fantastic dinner from Chili’s brought to me in quick time by Door Dash.
Five stars!
This Chili’s delivered a level of service that felt truly five-star. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant was spotless and the staff made me feel like a VIP. I came to surprise a friend (not even my birthday!) and they still opened the door for me and treated me with incredible warmth. My server, Krista, was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. The food was perfectly prepared and absolutely on point. I am beyond impressed—this is the best fast-casual chain I have ever experienced. If I were rich, I’d leave a giant tip to match the outstanding service!
My server, Alexa, was an absolute joy. On top of being super efficient and informative about the menu, she was also friendly and pleasant.
I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with broccoli and fries, and a couple glasses of Tito’s punch with it.
I can’t express how nice it is to have a moment of nostalgia provided by a brand from my childhood at a price that feels appropriate, with service that makes it feel like I’m a welcome and valued guest.
Thank you Chili’s, thank you Mr. Moffett, and thanks again to Alexa.
After completing our meal, a member of our party accidentally left behind an expensive personal item inside the restaurant. When we realized this and returned shortly after, we found ourselves locked outside despite staff clearly being present inside. We knocked repeatedly and attempted to get the attention of multiple staff members, all of whom ignored us.
Eventually, another member of our party went to the to-go door and was reluctantly allowed inside. As this individual entered, our waiter openly stated that he was not going to open the door and accused our party of having “set him up.” When the item was retrieved and the guest was exiting, the waiter proceeded to yell “never again,” implying that we were no longer welcome to dine at the restaurant.
Additionally, the waiter accused our party of not leaving a tip, which is untrue. A tip was left despite the poor service. Regardless, whether a tip was left or not, it is completely unacceptable to ignore customers attempting to retrieve a forgotten personal item or to treat them with hostility.
This entire interaction reflected a lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, and acceptable customer service standards, and it is not an experience we would ever choose to repeat.
