We hit them up for some post-Thanksgiving shenanigans and they didn’t disappoint. Sitting at the bar was the perfect move.
The Triple Dipper is a classic for a reason, and those wings hit the spot.
The drink lineup was the highlight, we had the Strawberry Hennessy cocktails and tried the new Wicked drinks! The pink (Popular) and green (Wicked) margaritas were both great and made for a fun holiday vibe.
Perfect way to wrap up the weekend! ✨
I was seated right away but waited at least ten minutes before a server appeared and asked what I wanted. I placed my order and waited for it to arrive.
I have enjoyed Chili’s fajitas for over 30 years and I can honestly say this is the WORST I have ever had the misfortune of eating. The beans were cold. The meat, which is usually nicely seasoned, was completely devoid of any spices whatsoever, was tasteless and so overcooked it was as dry as cardboard.
When my server came to check on me, I decided to get some hot sauce and guacamole, which ended up being another tasteless dining loser. It was basically mashed up avocado and nothing else.
If I had more time I would have sent this disaster back to the kitchen, but I hadn’t eaten all day, it was close to closing, I had to get to work and my server was busy sweeping the floor. I had to ask a busboy for my dessert (birthday freebie to go) and a water.
A short time after I left, I spoke to a hotel employee who works nearby and mentioned my awful dinner experience. He said their hotel is where Spirit Airlines flight crews stay for layovers, and they are advised to avoid dining at this Chili’s location! SPIRIT AIRLINES! LOL!
I did submit comments at the restaurant when I checked out and online. It’s been a week and I have yet to hear from anyone at Chili’s about my crappy food. I am not surprised.
In closing I will say the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie is incredible.
I order it, thinking of juicy, tender bites, but what arrives is a rubbery mass that could double as a chew toy for a bear. I’m there, knife in hand, grappling with this beast, wrestling it like it’s an elk hide. Each cut feels like a workout, and I’m left wondering if I should’ve brought a chainsaw instead of a steak knife. The experience? Less dining, more endurance test. It’s a steak that tests your resolve, leaving you chewing and chewing, wrestling with each bite like it’s a basketball. The manager was not happy clearly he was yelling to the bartender “itd not his problem” he dose not have control over the cut of the beef? The bartender ordered chicken fingers but I’m afraid to eat them “ CHECK PLEASE” ?!?!!
Ask for Joy during your visit and you will not be disappointed!!
