Our menu choices were actually good, and the food arrived hot, but the salt completely ruined the experience. It would be much better if adding salt was left to the customer.
Because we couldn’t really eat the food, we left still hungry, which means the money we spent didn’t feel worth it. I personally wouldn’t choose this place again. If you’re sensitive to salt, you may want to keep this in mind before deciding to eat here.
Our burgers were hot, but the fries were stoned cold. The salad was okay. The chips were cold, but the green was decent.
Long wait for everything. Lots of patience required.
While waiting there was no host at the front and a couple who came in after me stood there unsure of what to do since no one from the staff was around. The dining room felt understaffed and disorganized.
When my order was ready I headed back to my hotel to eat. The bag was missing the side of broccoli. The mac and cheese was watery and inedible. The chicken crispers were fine but tough. The fried mozzarella was decent and the lava cake was acceptable, although I originally tried to order the peanut butter pie which this location does not offer.
Overall the service was poor, the order was incomplete, and most of the food was disappointing
My boyfriend presented his military ID for a military discount, and because the ID was recently expired, the manager, Viviana, came over and refused to apply the discount. Let’s get one thing straight — this is someone who served this country and is part of the reason we as Americans are able to walk freely every day. Apparently, at Chili’s, that service means nothing if an expiration date isn’t perfectly up to date.
This was never about the money. It’s not about $14.20. Chili’s can keep the $14.20. This is about principle and respect. If you’re going to advertise a military discount, then maybe learn how to treat service members with some god damn respect instead of hiding behind technicalities.
There was zero empathy, zero appreciation, and zero understanding — just an embarrassing display of how little Chili’s values the people who sacrificed for this country. NOT EVEN A THAK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! Absolutely disgusting! You don’t get to pretend to support the military when it looks good for marketing and then turn around and disrespect them in real life.
We will not be returning, and I will make sure others know exactly how Chili’s treats the people who serve and protect this country. Veterans and service members deserve far better than this.
