Keep in mind it took me a while to get here. We have been going to chilis in our town (Hadley, MA) since we moved to Amherst 2 years ago and it’s been such an up & down experience dining in we decided to only order out from now on.
We LOVE Chilis burgers (or used to) and the appetizers are usually beyond amazing but the last few meals have been lacking with Thai last one being the last straw unfortunately.
We ordered 2 burger meals, chips and salsa, trio appetizer & a kids meal.
I’m going to include the kids meal pictures here so you can see how many fries he god but most important, the burnt rock hard burgers he received. I took a bite and had to spit it out.
Our burgers, cooked SO cold & dry we were only able to take a couple bites. The chips were ice cold and salsa runny. The appetizer trio was great BUT again, cold. I made sure to set the time for the order exactly just so, so it would t ve sitting for more than 5 mins. There is NO reason our food should have been made so early and sitting for so long. NOT worth the $68 we paid.

Bottomless chips and salsa people…c’mon! Need I say more? But, I will. The food seems to have taken a dive since prices got jacked. The grilled chicken sandwich used to be so good. Idk, they had to take a cheaper route. I used to get two meals out of one chicken sandwich, and now it’s just…different. Not as good. But it’s still a good atmosphere, they have coke products, coke zero. Is my favorite, and I’m glad to see restaurants carrying it. The staff is always excellent. The seating always good. I know it’s a long shot, but bring back the chicken you used to serve .

Chips and salsa were very good, I odered the sirloin and got fries and loaded mashed potatoes. It was pretty good too, the price was right. 17$ and it came with a drink and a soup. The server was excellent

Me and my friends have always enjoyed the experience at Chillis, specifically the Hadley, MA one. But after this last tiring experience we might not come back.
Right when we walked in we understood they were missing a host and were slightly understaffed – which I understand is a very difficult situation but doesn not excuse the server’s attitude. Onced seated we waited around 20 minutes to be greated and waited another 25 for drinks. Our server was not attentive, gave an attitude, did not bring out any of our food/drinks and chatted all night with her coworkers (we were in eye-shot and couldn’t get her attention for boxes or help with our check or anything). She straight up treated us like a inconvience which is a horrible feeling at such a warm and welcoming resturant.
Sadly it was worse for the table next to us that had three kids and had to wait 45 minutes to place their food order.
A resturant that usually turns tables in an hour, left us sitting there for over two hours. It must be difficult to work in a college area and treating college looking kids less than other guests is one thing but treating the family with three kids like crap too is inexcusable.

It’s Chili’s… I ordered a Margareta and stuffed my face on nachos than ordered the bacon rancher thinking that was a good idea. (I didn’t eat all day and yes I finished it). Another margarita ended my day.

Well this is a place that for the past couple of years before and after covid we used to call it a family restaurant now is call a business, it was my family favorite place to go not because the price because the food, the atmosphere the people and it was the best place and affordable place to go to, now is just a simple business that we are just one more client our number to there bank account is so sad to say that not even employees are happy of working. Well unfortunately it very sad and hard to find a place to get together with love one our friends this place will never be the same. Hope they realize that with out customer it will be no business. OH not to mention there are people that do care for others and try always to make sure you have a good time. Thank you for does who do it.
I went back to see if they had changed after a couple of months I was told a new manager had taken over, so I said to my self less give them the opportunity again and guess what, not good people and is not anymore quality is quantity.

Love coming here!! Food and drinks are great here and so is the desert!! I definitely recommend the Smash Burger and fries!! With the Chocolate and Caramel Molten cake with ice cream for dessert!!

Appetiser was good. Mozzarella sticks. The rest was bad. Steak fajita, hamburger and crispy chicken. Between the 3 of us we ate 1/4 of the food and service was non existent. Never will return. Not a $90 meal by any means.
