I got the Reuben Omelet and just one pancake (at the recommendation of the server because they are on the bigger side). My omelet was amazing but that pancake was likely the best pancake I’ve ever had – and I know pancakes!! Super good! Highly recommend this little place. I understand the hype now!!
After 19 years of living here, I wish we would’ve tried sooner!!

One of Beaver Dams Jem’s. Great little restaurant. Very good food and a great atmosphere. Home cooking taste at a restaurant. The bloody Mary’s are also pretty good.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Chili John’s Cafe. This is a family-run and staffed establishment with great personalities that make the atmosphere very enjoyable. The well seasoned grill and the chef/owner make the food taste fantastic. Liquor is available if you want a drink with your meal. Seating is available at the counter or tables.
If you’re in the area, stop in for a visit. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Classic small-town diner experience. One family for over a hundred years. Classic greasy-spoon fare but cooked by someone who knows there way around a kitchen, and some Mediterranean heritage means you might get a delicious home-made lemon chicken soup.
Service is friendly but with plenty of sass available if you get out of line.
Saturday morning expect to see plenty of Bloody Marys.
Oh, no plastic at check-out.
Enjoy!

Classic wisconsin bar. Visited for breakfast and the whole family, including 2 children, walked away happy. Wasn’t too busy, but the waitress was very attentive and helpful.

Was very excited to have Chili John’s chili hoping it was just like the Chili John’s recipe that used to be in Green Bay. The extremely friendly waiter said it was better. It was not! It was very runny and tasted like watered down Hormel. The hand cut fries which he also recommended were hard & lacked seasoning. The hamburger however was very good with a perfectly toasted bun and perfectly grilled onions. The place is older & a bit run down, but it had character and a fun atmosphere.
