We got the tinga tostadas and chicken burrito, with chips and salsa and they were all on point. The chicken tinga was smokey and delicious and the refried beans in both were excellent. Will be back and encourage anyone else to visit.

During my first visit, I decided to try several menu items, including sopes pastor, tamales, birra tacos, & chicken soup. Each dish was flavorful & truly exceeded my expectations. The food was the best I have enjoyed in quite some time.

I recently had the occasion to try Chiles Locos Mexican Food, on 10th Street, by Orange St. Just diagonally corner to De.Co and I’m glad I did! While the resturant is small, with only 4-5 tables and an eating bar, it makes up for it’s size with true flavor that I have previously found only with the small corner vendors in many cities in Mexico. I found their food not only to be fantastic in taste, (I would go so far as to say the best street style tacos in New Castle County), lower in cost than any mexican food in De.Co, or The Chancery Market, well made with lots of meat, but also the staff there were very nice. I encourage you to try them when your in Downtown Wilmington.
I ordered the steak tacos which were made with fresh made-in-store tortillas and packed with steak, and an order of churros. all of which were made fresh. I also had a pork tamale which while made ahead of time, still was moist and had great flavor. I’m told that Tamales go fast, so order early. Fridays is their Tamale day, when they make more, and if you let them know in advance, they can accommodate large orders. Next time I go, I’ll be trying the chicken Tamales and sample more of their menu. (Edit: I did recently try the chicken Tamales and rhey were heavenly!!!). Don’t forget to order the fresh and warm Churros with a Carmel dipping sauce! better than that crappy stale tasting churro you get at Costco, and no membership is required to buy them!

We recently had Chili Loco’s Tacos cater an event at our home, and it was absolutely flawless from start to finish!
The food was incredible and everyone kept going back for more. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The queso and guacamole were a huge hit!!! The rice and beans were delicious and the perfect complement to the meal.
And the desserts… wow! The tres leches cake was unbelievably moist and rich, and the churros were warm, crispy, and completely addictive. Every single dish was executed perfectly.
Beyond the food, the entire experience was seamless and professional. Everything arrived on time, beautifully prepared, and made hosting so easy for us. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was!
