Legitimately the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I live a few minutes away from here, and for a few years now, since it’s opened, I have eaten here at least once a week. The service is fast; I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my food. Also, the lady who works at the front is kind, and greets you as you walk in. I would recommend getting the Chorizo Tex-Mex tacos or the Steak Quesadilla, but I’ve never gotten an item here and not said “This is the best _____ I’ve ever had!” Much love, Evan and Hailey

The food was tasty. I had one chicken taco and one steak. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. The chips and salsa were also great. Light and crisp chips without grease and the salsa was full of flavor! I will definitely be back!

The chips are thin and crispy and warm and tasted like they were cooked in fresh oil. The salsa which came with it was extremely tasty on a moderate side, but not too hot
The quesadilla and the burrito had fresh ingredients and were tasty, filling, but not oily
Felt like a home Cooked meal!!!

Lovely little gem easily accessed northbound. Small vegetarian menu, but cooked fresh to order and worth the visit. Mild green sauce is spicy enough compared to chain franchises. Reasonably priced and quiet around dinner time. We were recommended the enchiladas and they did not disappoint!

This is legitimately one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The flavors were just so good and not overly done, and the chips and salsa were equally good. The inside is a bit of a pigsty and I think they’re missing out on a lot of indoor potential.

I absolutely loved this place! Authentic Mexican food at its’ finest. A little gem tucked away in Kenwood. Wonderful, quick service, reasonable prices and delicious food with a very friendly staff. My chorizo torta (sandwich) was huge!! The chips & salsa were amazing and homemade too. Just…wow. I can’t wait to go back again soon for lunch/dinner. Strongly recommend Chilero!!!

This was my first time having a torta and it was fantastic. I got the steak torta with everything on it. The bread is unlike any bread I’ve had. Fluffy and soft yet hearty and fills up your stomach. I would recommend it to anyone.
