I’ve been coming to Chilean Bakery for years now, and it’s my go-to spot for every special occasion. Their cakes never disappoint. The flavors are always on point, and the decoration is beautiful every single time. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cake that’s both delicious and stunning! Always a 10/10.

I’m Chilean and live in Pennsylvania. I had been looking for a Chilean restaurant for a long time, and I drove two hours to this place in Jersey. Honestly, I felt right at home the food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was the best birthday gift I’ve ever had!
Vivaaaaaa chileeeeeee!!!!!!

The only place in NJ where you can get authentic Chilean food – especially the empanadas. It’s hard walking out of here without spending $100, just cause everything is right on. I load up and bring it home. I live an hour and a half away and it’s worth the trip.
Here’s my Chilean mamma enjoying her trip.

Consider yourself lucky to have stumbled upon this unique Chilean bakery – and here’s why. This hidden gem in Roselle Park is a true celebration of authentic Chilean desserts. Stepping inside feels less like entering a business and more like walking into a beloved family home in Chile. As a Chilean myself, I felt an immense sense of pride just being there.

The desserts are beyond words; they’re perfection and instantly transport me back to cherished family moments. The manjar (dulce de leche) is crafted exactly how I remember my own family making it, and there are so many delicious options featuring it. The “Brasso De Reina”, a cake generously filled with manjar, is an especially excellent choice.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have found this spot and highly recommend it. Though I’m not from the immediate area, I’ll make it a point to stop by whenever I’m close, eager to buy a little piece of memory in every dessert.

I was missing my Chilean-style empanada and pastel de choclo. IYKYK. The beef stew was delicious as well. I’m really glad I found this place.

The food is OK—I got two cheese empanadas and a pastry. But the service is TERRIBLE! The woman who attended me was very, very rude. It felt like they don’t want you to be there. This was my first time trying Chilean food, and I had no idea what was on the menu. When I asked for some recommendations, she was so rude to the point of saying “You have to read the menu!”, “As I said, we don’t have that!”, or “That’s what we have!”—pointing to the back of the store. Eventually, I realized she meant the blackboard on the back wall. Reading through other reviews, I see I’m not alone in this experience. If you don’t care about service, go to this place. Otherwise, I don’t recommend it.

Good Chilean food. I had the churrasco sandwich at 9$, not a big sandwich but still a really tasty. I also ordered a beef empanada for 5$…. service is nice and informative of what they have to offer. Eatting inside is OK but on a nice day you can enjoy your meal outside.

The service was not good. The waitress was rude, and the fish dish had no flavor—it didn’t even have salt. They need to improve their service with friendlier staff. Also, they should provide a clear breakdown of the prices so customers know exactly how much everything costs.
