I’ve been ordering from Chili Verde since before the Covid pandemic and rarely experienced any problems, at least, at the Redondo Beach restaurant. The Staff, I think, pretty much knows who I am, at least they seem to remember me when I pick up my orders. Staff is always friendly. Food is fresh and tasty. Chili Verde is my go to place when I want Mexican food.

The food here was good but that is not my issue. The workers were so disrespectful. I was asking for my food because I was waiting an hour and they smashed my burrito even though they said it was an accident. I had to buy a new one but was very good. The environment seemed pretty serious and nobody had a smile on their face.

I had been wanting to try this place, since it keeps growing with new locations. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly, and when I asked for recommendations that were without beef or chicken, the service attendant recommended exactly what I enjoy most, which is enchiladas and potato tacos!
The potato taco had a lot of queso fresca on top, which I love, but I couldn’t really taste the potatoes, they seem to be steamed and not pan fried. The cheese enchiladas were good, but I don’t know if it’s cinnamon or licorice flavoring in the sauce, but it really care for them too much, and there wasn’t really much cheese pull inside. From the salsa bar, the mild salsa has a weird tomato paste flavor, a little too extreme for me.
All in all, it was a good lunch, but for them to grow with over 12 locations, is kind of shocking to me. Unless it’s the service, which is definitely five star.

This was my first time here. I got the taco quesabirria. It was really good. The salsa options were ok. My coworkers got the burritos and they looked good. I would likely return.

Okay, so picture this: you walk into this Mexican joint, ready to be transported to flavor town, I had the beef taquitos. Now, I’m not saying they’re bad, but let’s just say they’re like the B-list actors in a taco production. The rice and beans? Well, they were like the loyal sidekicks, trying their best to support the taquitos’ mediocre performance. Overall, it’s like watching a forgettable rom-com – it fills you up, but you won’t be raving about it to your friends.

We had a late night and we’re trying to figure out where to eat,so we went to Chilled Verde. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and asked them to throw some cheese in there as well. My husband got the large wet carne asada burrito. My husband would have rather had carnitas but the me u didn’t say anything about carnitas. We just noticed a sign below that had a special for carnitas burritos ♀️
The quantity of food was good but I feel like it was lacking taste. It just seems kind of bland which surprised me. We went on a Friday night and waited about 20-30 mins to get our food.
The price was decent and I like that they are open until 10pm.

Their prices go up on the taco tuesday it’s not taco Tuesday anymore and their quality goes down the tacos half filled they don’t look appetizing I’m not that excited to get them anymore Tuesdays used to be my taco Tuesday days in which I really Enjoyed but not anymore at least not from this location that’s sad because I used to always come here
