Chile Loco is my favorite all-time Mexican restaurant! I am a lover of Mexican food and this is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever dined at. It is family owned and operated and when you dine at this Restaurant, you feel like part of their family.

As I mentioned above, their food is the best I have ever eaten across the United States. Their fresh squeezed Margaritas are out of this world! I have to discipline myself to only drink one… They are that good!
The mole sauce is out of this world… By far the best I have ever had!

Overall… I absolutely love this restaurant, and we dine there with all of our out-of-town guest and family when they come to visit. Loved by all!

We have been customers for 6 years and this is probably our favorite restaurant in Cashiers. IF you like a FRESH Margarita with your food you would be hard pressed to experience a better one. Hand squeezed lime and none of that pre mixed crap in a bottle!! Amazing cocktail.

The food is Always great and my wife and I frequent Chili Loco at least once a week. The quality of the food is outstanding. . Mexican food can often be lumped into one “bucket, more or less, and Chile breaks that mold with the quality of their ingredients and their overall approach to their truly authentic menu. Even the texture and taste of their chicken is Far superior to Any other Mexican restaurant (be it Atlanta or beyond) Everything is SO fresh and the environment is tremendously inviting. The Morales family produces a solid 10/10. Somewhat nondescript from the outside, don’t let that fool you. Once you enter the door and experience this place you will be back time and time again.

Keep it up Chile!!!

Sidenote: I always find it interesting to look at ALL of the reviews a person does when they do a HIT job on an establishment. A pattern emerges – The majority of the time ( Not always) those individuals bash almost every place. Lots of displaced angst out there. Most people I know, that who will objectively review a restaurant, would not leave a ONE star review Unless they had two bad experiences. Every place has an off day, Those who trash an eating establishment have other issues (not exclusively but, its clear based on how they were “offended” in so many ways) These folks should find a nice counselor with whom they can unload their baggage.

A family favorite for great Mexican food. Guacamole and chips are fresh. Tortilla soup is consistently delicious. Enchiladas are perfectly prepared with just the right amount of spicy! On the recommendation of family, I tried the ribeye chimichanga for the first time and will continue to order that for the foreseeable future. Don’t miss this great local restaurant.

By far the best Mexican food I have ever had!! And, I’ve been to Mexico , and I’m from NYC where Mexican restaurants is everywhere. Here I got a real home made cooking, I was obsessed with their Mexican style tacos. Staying for over a week at the hotel above, this place was saving me after I had a surgery and needed takeouts daily. Grill chicken, and very tasty been ( unlike the other review) another lunch favorite , I was so pleased!! Thank you so much for your delicious food and your great service.

Really enjoyed this place! Would have loved it more if the chips and salsa were better. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the steak! Both were really delicious. The steak was super yummy. I also tried the modelo mango Chile for the first time and it was tasty! I also like fruity and sour beers, so if that is your taste pallet I recommend!!

Horrible service. There are many other Mexican restaurants in town, go to one of them. The hostess/waitress ignored us for seven minutes after seating us pleasantly. Then had an attitude when I got up to ask her for service. Food was not very good for the most part. My chimichanga had undercooked meat as it was still pink. It also had a toothpick in the middle of it. My brother’s burritos were dry and uninteresting. While waiting I asked if they bring out chips and salsa and she bluntly said, “by the order.”
Not, “oh yes I can bring that certainly but there’ll be a small charge.” Plus it’s standard in Mexican restaurants to include chips and salsa for free. At the very least when you seat us, get our drink orders and ask if we would like to order chips and salsa. By the way, the charge for chips and salsa is $6. I was expecting like 3 or 4 for the tiny amount you get. There’s was no apology from the young dark haired Hispanic waitress. The older Hispanic woman came by and made everything a lot better and had a great attitude. But the younger dark haired hispanic girl is the one who was rude and not very pro customer service. Try it for yourself and see if it’s any better for you!! By all means!!!

The seafood soup was excellent! Went back 2 days in a row to enjoy it! , the margarita was great and got to speak to Fina, the owner about their move there from Los Angeles. What a success story! Happy for them!! Will definitely come visit again when in town! A Mexican place that you MUST visit that is not junk..

Another recommendation from the hosts at our vacation rental, and an excellent one. Very authentic Mexican food. The chips are pretty unique. Not the typical thin and crispy, but kind of double layered. Obviously homemade! I wasn’t amazed by the pastor (pork) tacos, but they definitely were more like street tacos. Nice taco shells. The steak quesadilla and steak chimichanga were outstanding! Tasty and flavorful. The chimichanga was served over rice and cheese with the refried beans inside. And those beans were not the typical pile of mush you get at other Mexican places. Definitely a place to try. We’d definitely go back.

Food was delicious! Best Mexican I’ve ever had. Very clean, cheerful atmosphere, good sized portions, & a fair price. Loved their guacamole. Everything we had was full of flavor and very fresh. We order the shrimp burrito, chicken chimichanga, and chicken flautas (substituting black beans for refried). Would recommend them all! Service was friendly albeit a bit slow on Mondays with only the one waitress. But food came out quickly and orders were accurate. Other nearby eateries being closed on Mondays may have contributed to how busy the waitress was as well.

Feel at home at Chile Loco! I’ve visited Chile Loco several times this summer & 3 years ago in the winter. The food was absolutely delicious and consistent through all of my visits! I have food allergies & they were so willing to accommodate. This is a family owned & operated business that leads with heart! They put their love into their scratch-made Mexican cuisine and into their care of their customers. I use the word “care” because it’s more than service. The margaritas are legit too! Don’t miss out on this gem! You’ll leave craving more!
