We live just a few blocks away and waited so long for them to open. We actually live most of the year in Mexico and one of our businesses is a Mexican Restaurant and have been kinda disappointed in the Mexican restaurants here in Texas so when Chilaquiles opened, we made sure to try it and have not been disappointed! The other night was our 3rd time and it’s well worth the visit. For such a small place, the menu is huge! I have no idea how they can offer such variety and many are things you cannot find at other Mexican restaurants with any consistency. The other night, I had carnitas. My wife had the Caldo de Camarones (shrimp soup) and quesadillas with spinach. It was not only good but the portions were large and made for great breakfast the next day! Also, I have to say that the servers each time we have visited have been super and very sweet. Marianna attended our table the other night and she could not have been better! Very sweet lady! Can’t wait to go back and try more things! Congrats and welcome to the neighborhood!

Well this was well anticipated visit. We got there about few minutes before 1 pm. The restaurant was very busy so the expectation was high. You know that feeling, people go where the good food us being severed. We were seated quickly. Then we got ore chips and hot sauce. The Menu is vast, personal I like we that. Everything went well until we got out food. One cool feature, and of course I forgot to take a photo, our food was “delivered” by a robot. The presentation of the food was nice, see attached photos. I would have to say this place lacked substance. We both agreed that the rice wasn’t good. When you make rice you need to use chicken broth. The rice had english peas and corn, like they want to to think it was made fresh. I had the taco dinner. The meat wasn’t very seasoned. The condiments was sparse. The refined beans came with Queso Fresco, we’ll mine was covered and my wife’s beans was “sprinkled”. The wife didn’t like how the Queso on her plate was very thin. We did leave a 20% tip. I wonder what 12 months later will look like that that shopping center.

We stopped by Chilaquiles Cocina Mexicana for brunch today and left thoroughly impressed. The space itself immediately catches your eye – everything has that pristine, just-opened feel with spotless surfaces and modern touches throughout. It’s clear they’ve put thought into creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The food more than lived up to the setting. We ordered the chilaquiles with green tomatillo sauce and the migas with chorizo, and both dishes were excellent. The chilaquiles had that perfect balance of crispy and soft tortilla chips, with the tangy tomatillo sauce bringing everything together beautifully. The migas were equally satisfying – the chorizo added a rich, savory depth that made every bite memorable.
What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
If you’re looking for quality Mexican breakfast in a fresh, clean environment with staff who know what they’re doing, this place is worth a visit.

My husband and I had dinner here this evening. We ordered the queso flameado and the carnitas plate, which came with rice and beans. The portions were generous—definitely a bit more than average—and the carnitas were quite good. My husband had the bistec ranchero, but he felt it was mostly ranchero sauce with very little beef.
The queso flameado, on the other hand, was excellent! Our waitress, Maria, was very nice and attentive whenever she came by. However, the experience took a turn when the manager and part owner, Elsa, approached our table. She came over with a look of annoyance and an unwelcoming tone, asking, “Did you order a queso flameado?” We said yes, and her expression made it clear she wasn’t happy about it. She then walked away without the usual, “I’ll be right back” or “Can I get you anything else?” you’d expect from a manager or server.
Throughout the meal, we could also hear her scolding other staff members over minor things—mostly directed at our waitress. When Maria stopped by our table again, I made sure to tell her she was doing an excellent job. She teared up and confided that they were short-staffed and the manager was being harsh.
Overall, I’d rate the ambiance a 3, thanks mainly to Maria’s kindness and effort. The food was good, but management could use some serious training in customer service.

I recently visited Chilaquiles, as I was excited to try their chilaquiles, my favorite breakfast dish. However, the experience was disappointing. We ordered Omelet Verde, chilaquiles with eggs over easy, and Waffles with strawberry and banana. Although our drinks were served promptly and the waiter was attentive with refilling my mimosa, we did not receive any chips like other tables, which was disappointing. The wait for our food was long, and when it arrived, it was not up to expectations. My eggs were not cooked as requested, my mom’s omelet was undercooked, the food was cold, and the chilaquiles needed more sauce. While the Waffle was alright in terms of taste, it was cold as well. Due to the long wait, we decided not to send the food back.Unfortunately, this experience has led us to decide not to return to this restaurant.

The food was amazing! Our family tried several dishes including the avocado toast, red chilaquiles, sopes, steak and eggs, tortilla soup, and a green juice. Everything tasted great and came out perfect. Our waitress Samantha was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. She made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I’ve been here twice and both visits were fantastic. The food is consistently great, and you can really taste the difference with the homemade tortillas. The margaritas were so good too—fresh and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

I had the best enchiladas at Chilaquiles Mexican Cocina! The flavors were incredible and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The service was so fast and friendly — we felt welcomed right away.
If you haven’t been here yet, it’s a must-try! They serve delicious breakfast options and even have a full bar, which makes it perfect for any time of day. Highly recommend!

We were excited to see a robot serving food today, but was told it was broke
We ordered quesadillas, they don’t come with sour cream, pico or guacamole for lunch. They were dry. The chips and salsa were mediocre. We also froze as the a/c was on and it was a cold mid-morning Dec day.

I am so excited about this new restaurant in our lives. It will probably become a weekly thing for us. My wife had the street tacos and of course I tried them, and they were great. I had the Sopes (which is an appetizer, but also my favorite), and they were the best I’ve ever eaten. Lily, our server was absolutely the best. She was fast, friendly and very attentive. As I said before, we’ll absolutely be back, again and again!!
