This restaurant was absolutely delicious. My husband and I were searching for authentic Mexican food, and we found exactly that here. The chilaquiles were outstanding. After placing my order, I noticed they offered green pozole, and the staff was kind enough to let me sample it—wow, it was incredibly flavorful. The service was excellent; you can truly tell they take pride in their food and hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

It was our first time here, and it was recommended by some friends on social media, so I was really looking forward to trying it.
When we arrived, the place was semi-full. The décor is very traditional Mexican; from the tables and music to the utensils. It definitely gives the feeling of a classic Mexican diner.
There are no servers, so you have to order at the bar, which is fine. The problem is that’s where the good part of the experience ended.
While my partner was in line ordering, a staff member approached me and told me that we could not sit at the table until we had a number after ordering. I explained that there was no sign at the entrance saying “wait to be seated” or “sit after you order.” Also, the table next to us had a similar situation; the woman was in line ordering while the man was already sitting at their table.
We were doing exactly the same thing, but somehow we were not allowed. The staff member then told me to get up and leave the table so other customers could sit there. That was very surprising and frankly rude. I’m a paying customer, and it’s not like I was occupying the table without ordering.
At that point, I told my partner to cancel the order and leave, because it was clear they didn’t want our business.
They seem to be trying to position themselves as part of the Pearl dining scene, but with that kind of service, I’m honestly glad they’re separate.
Not recommended at all.

Chilaquiles Buen Día is truly a hidden gem at The Pearl. I hadn’t noticed this place before, but it completely surprised me. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the chilaquiles are outstanding and very generously served, and the drink menu has a great variety to choose from. Everything felt well done and thoughtfully prepared. Definitely a great spot and one I’ll be coming back to.

First time going. It’s such a cute place with a fun inviting vibe. The workers are so nice and kind. They even let you try the agua fresca to see if you may or may not like it. They serve a little bit of alcohol along with iced coffee and cafe Olla. The portions are huge for the price. Definitely worth going. The food reminded me of home when I was growing up.

If you’re on the hunt for a brunch spot that absolutely delivers, Chilaquiles Buen Día is your new go-to. From the first bite to the last sip, it’s a nonstop party for your taste buds.
Let’s talk Fresas Con Crema pancakes—these bad boys are heavenly. Light, fluffy cakes drenched in sweet cream and fresh strawberries so good you’ll forget all about your usual side of eggs. (I tried to add eggs—honest—but ended up full just off the pancakes alone.)
Now, the chilaquiles deserve their own ovation. You get to pick two flavors—do yourself a favor and go verde + chipotle. The verde brings that bright tang, the chipotle delivers a smoky kick, and together they make magic on a plate.
And the drinks… oh man, don’t get me started. The Smokey Pineapple Margarita is divine. You can order it with mezcal for that extra edge or stick with straight tequila—either way, it’s pure bliss.
Bonus points: there’s parking out front, so skip the Pearl parking hunt and roll right in.
10/10 would recommend—Chilaquiles Buen Día absolutely slaps.
