So I will start by saying that I went to the puppy bowl Austin at the Austin ASPCA, every February they have a tailgate tasting competition This year I wanted to try Chi’Lantro because I always said no I will go but never do ..long story short they had wings but not just any wings wings with a special breading and a amazing gochujang sauce you could smell 20 feet away amazing best wings iv ever had iv worked at pluckers they totally destroyed the competition I mean I expected them to go Super sayan but not Ultra instinct Goku on the wings….FIRE…… I went back got the wing for the Super bowl breading was different but so freaking good I got the k-pop chicken just to make sure I got my taste from the puppy bowl ..so freaking good made my whole month Eat here immediately
Ps.the manager who helped me was probably one of the best managers if I still worked in food service I would ask for a job so helpful and friendly I will definitely use his customer service skills in my line of work .Top notch G.O.A.T level… more… View more

What a wonderful, accidental discovery! This was our first time trying this place, and it was so good. The restaurant was cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas .
The service from Abby was exceptional. She was incredibly patient, helped guide our choices, and even offered a sample of their house lemonade.

Customized my own bowl and ordered via Grubhub. I got their K’pop chicken as protein. It’s too good!!! It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The flavor is amazing. I personally think that the quantity is a bit too much. I got a side of their dumplings too. It’s a bit pricey though. I liked their spicy ranch more than their magic sauce.

Delicious!! Food was fresh and the kimchi fries and custom bowls are my favorite (fries when I wanna splurge, bowls when I’m trying to be healthy). I visit often because I can easily customize my meal to whatever I’m craving. Have lots of gluten free and vegan options too!! Their peach lemonade is incredible.

Went in for lunch to specifically have their Kimchi Fries, which I had in the past. Ordered Kimchi fries with added beef. Fries were nice and crunchy, full of flavors. Overall very good. It seems like portion was much smaller than when I had it the past. $14 for fries and I’m still hungry. Their bowl looked much more filling. Restaurant was clean, staff was very gracious. Just seems very overpriced – probably won’t come back.

Built my own bowl, everything was crisp and well cooked. First time coming in, and was better then I was told. And I was told it was excellent. Adrian took my order, super friendly, very knowledgeable. Tell your friends, this place is the real deal. Food was awesome, and spicy. Definitely recommend stopping by for lunch.

I got a Ssäm with Carnitas and loaded it up with veggies. I ordered the carrot ginger dressing and dipped each bite. Super yummy!
They loaded it up so full I almost didn’t need dinner. Plus, everything was so fresh and they didn’t skimp on anything.
So glad I finally tried Chi’Lantro. I will definitely eat here again.
I actually have one walkable from my apartment so I may be in trouble! There goes my food budget.

3.7 out of 4. The chilantro fries are worth the stop for sure. They are amazing. The wings are a perfect mix of hot and delicious. Great staff and tiny restaurant. The rice bowl left me disappointed and on the fence about whether I’d return and then I remembered the fries and I’m totally coming back.
