A great place to get lunch if working downtown. The service is fast and friendly. The food is healthy and has many options.
This is a good truck in the sidewalk near the post office and convenience store. I loved stopping here when my office was nearby.

They’re out of stock of eggs and my order was the bimbimbap which supposedly has an egg on it. However, the two ladies that served me put extra avocado and the peach basil lemonade drink that I ordered was for free as a replacement! such a nice gesture 🙂 they’re so polite too 🙂

This is one of the best new restaurants I’ve been to. While we may have visited on a slow Sunday afternoon, the service was extremely quick. The portion sizes are large and filling, and well worth the price. As advertised, the kimchi is out of this world. My personal recommendation would be to get the soy glazed pork and magic sauce. It’s a great combo.

This is probably where I go “out” to eat the most. Who woulda thunk it? Korean and Mexican fusion tastes so good! This is close enough to work for me to walk there in 5 minutes. I get the bowl and fried tofu as the protein – it’s so good. Tofu takes a lot of abuse from people, but when prepared correctly, it’s very delicious. I started making it at home similar to this food truck. I’ve tried the beef and various chicken options, but always revert back to the tofu. I found the beef too salty the one time I ate it. The chicken is ok. I’ve not had the wrap/burrito, just the bowl.

When East meets West, there will always be sparks. I got the noodles with both steak and pork, yummy Savory and spicy, wash down with a cold drink, perfect for the weather.

$10 for the 3 tacos, they are decent but nothing to write home about. I didn’t know this location didn’t have wings but I was already in line so tried the tacos.
Meat is average, decent toppings but you need a fork to eat ‘em and there are hundreds of better taco spots.

Real tasty. Great service. I was working in an office down the way here in Austin I’m glad I went. Such a fun combination of flavors. I went with the bulgogi steak and the glazed chicken with a fried egg and guacamole. Kind of has a Cava or Chipotle vibe if you’re used to that make it your own speed service. Worth trying.

I had a salad bowl with double ribeye, kimchi, guacamole, and cheese with magic sauce and it was delicious! Price was a little high, but I’d say it was worth it. Just don’t want to spend that much for lunch every day.

Yummy. Would get extra sauce next time.
Ordered the bowl with the steak – flavored & cooked well. Caramelized Kimchi not a lot of heat. Ready fast – ordered online for pickup.

The K’Pop Chicken Bowl at Chi’Lantro is hands down one of the most flavorful dishes in Austin’s fast-casual food scene. The Korean-inspired fried chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly coated in Chi’Lantro’s signature sweet and spicy K’Pop sauce—it has just the right amount of kick without being overwhelming.
What makes this bowl stand out is the balance: fluffy rice (or noodles if you prefer), fresh veggies, and that addictive drizzle of Chi’Lantro’s magic sauce tie everything together. Every bite hits a mix of savory, spicy, and slightly sweet flavors that keep you coming back for more.
The portion size is generous, making it great for lunch or dinner, and the consistency is spot-on—you know exactly what you’re getting every time. Pairing it with their kimchi fries is a must if you want the full Chi’Lantro experience.
If you’re looking for a go-to comfort meal in Austin that delivers both flavor and value, the K’Pop Chicken Bowl is a winner.
